★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place in Bacalar. It’s actually a home turned into a small boutique inn. You live with the owner Dani who is so kind and helpful. The home is immaculate. The room spacious although we suggested having a room with a larger bed. (My husband is very tall ?). You can see the lagoon from every room. It’s a shared kitchen but we liked to meet the other guests in the morning. They have kayaks you can use to explore the gorgeous lagoon. We felt like we not only found a place to stay but also a sense of family. We were sad to leave. Thanks Dani, Nathan and doggie Mr. White for an excellent stay.
