Villa La Bella - 77400 Isla Mujeres

We just loved our time at Villa La Bella.. from the awesome scenic views to wake up to, the delicious breakfast - ready and served to us every morning to the wonderful caring staff that treats you like royalty this bed and breakfast is a must!

I second some of the other comments. Drinks are over priced and the owner isn't friendly. Can't speak to the b&b but grab your cocktails elsewhere. The location is beautiful but there are many better options on the island. The Cadillac Margaita is $350 pesos and comes out warm like they mixed it in the glass, certainly not shaken. The beer is cold but it's just as cold everywhere else.

Still our favorite place to stay on the island! The property is breathtaking, the rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, and super clean (they even clean the windows and sliding patio doors daily).  Their coffee is a special blend that I've only tasted here and Curtis's breakfast are fresh and delicious...you will not leave hungry. I could go on and on...but you really should just go and experience it yourself...you won't be disappointed. Ashley and Curtis go out of their way to make each guest feel welcome...amazing host!!

Spending my last night (for now) at Villa La Bella and I can’t wait to come back. This is a gem of place if you’re looking for some island luxury, in a boutique setting at a still very reasonable price. The grounds, rooms, and pool are immaculate and so welcoming day and night. Ashley and Curtis welcome you with open arms and equip you with lots of tips to make the most of your time of the island. The morning coffee and breakfast were incredible. And the location couldn’t be more ideal - mid island means you’re close to so many amazing restaurants. If you need to head out early for an excursion or flight, you’re two blocks from Cafe Mango for an earlier breakfast if you’d like. I didn’t rent a golf cart and got around just fine by walking and taking taxis a few times to go to Punta Sur or Playa Norte. If you aren’t a walker in the heat, Ashley can help you get a golf cart brought to the Villa. Bedsides all the above amazing things, I’d say three things make me want to come back here over other locations. 1 - They work hard to be green here which matters even more on an island. 2 - There is a wonderful team of staff working here, who have been with the Villa for a long time. You can tell they all care and that makes the stay even better. 3 - It’s a small business with six rooms in total so you’re going to get a personal experience which is such a lovely touch. Can’t wait to come back!

Ashley went above and beyond throughout our entire transaction to ensure everything went smoothly upon our arrival. From the second we set foot on the property, I knew we wouldn't want to leave. I wish I could live in our Palapa. The swinging bed and sound of the waves were the cure to my insomnia. Loved all of the little touches throught the property and the food and drinks were delicious. Thank you Ashley and Curtis for an amazing vacation!

We stopped by to visit to have a drink and watch the ocean we even got it iguana show. The owner Ashley said her friend stumpy the iguana it was awesome if you're ever on the island of isle mujeres. You have to stop by for a drink.

Villa La Bella is AWESOME! Ashley and Curtis and the rest of the staff are incredible. Its adults only with 6 rooms. The breakfast is AMAZING. You are treated like kings and queens. We had a very relaxing and great time here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ashley and Curtis were amazing hosts always so very helpful! The breakfast was great every morning! We were so very comfortable in our suite! We will definitely be back next year and the year after! We have vacationed many different places. This was by far the best vacation EVER!
