Villa Lola - 48399 Puerto Vallarta

Palacio 199 was amazing. Our host Claudia (hope the spelling is correct) was incredible - welcoming, friendly and an expert with local information. Each morning we were presented with delicious breakfasts, smiles and jovial conversations - an absolute delight. Didn’t want to leave! Very sad to say goodbye to such a wonderful host/accommodation. I can’t say enough about this place. Logan and his staff made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. My friends and I rented the entire place (7 bedrooms) for a week, each room with a private bathroom. The place suited our every need. Conveniently located a few blocks from Playa de los Muertos and the Malécon, but far enough to avoid the noise and congestion, we could not have asked for a better location. The staff was helpful in every way imaginable including arranging transportation, hiring a bartender, and even picking up supplies. Our rooms were made up daily, and a delicious hot breakfast was served every morning. The rooftop pool was small but adequate for 14 people to cool off in and relax, with both sunny locations and shade when you’ve had too much sun. The Pinnacle resort tram is located a few steps from the front door for those who can’t manage the 96 steps (yes, we counted) up from Olas Altas.

What a great trip! This is one of the best Bed and Breakfast's we have stayed at in Puerto Vallarta. I will certainly be staying there again. The rooms are beautiful and the Owners were more than accommodating, from where to dine to off the beaten path. And above all the location and views from the pool deck are fantastic! The modern amenities combined with the traditional Mexican Feel are what make this B&B fantastic. We could not have been better taken care of nor more satisfied.

What a great experience! Palacio 199 is a combination of Puerto Vallarta's old world charm with all the modern conveniences of home. Location could not be better. It's in the romantic zone with shopping and fabulous restaurants right outside the door. And the beach is a short two block walk. The owners are friendly and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Especially love the view from the rooftop pool. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to make their next trip to PV a memorable one. Can't wait to go back!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The breakfasts were perfect, especially the chilaquiles and fresh fruit. The staff is amazing. Logan makes you feel right at home and is an SMS away for suggestions on things to do. The ladies who do breakfast are helpful and patient with less than great Spanish :). I loved relaxing in the common areas while it rained, and the occasional yellow flower that would rain down in front of our room. Perfection.

Perfect stay in every way. I was looking at this property for a while due to the extremely good reviews and I'm happy to say it lived up to all of them. Here are some of the key reasons I loved my stay: Breakfast: Breakfast is included and made to order each day. Throughout the week you can choose one of the daily specials, or something else as you prefer. Lots to choose from and you can opt for very big portions if you are hungry. The staff: Logan is wonderful, very thorough, and extremely professional. He was always ensuring I had everything I needed and had no concerns or issues. The cleaning and cooking staff are very friendly and wonderful hosts. The location: Just perched one street above all the action. High enough for a good view, but not so high that you can't walk home. At Olas Altas street you can walk up about 70 or so steps, or take a little cable car. You're steps away from a pharmacy and Oxxo and hundreds of restaurants, cafes, etc. The beach is a 5-minute walk. The rooms: I was able to get one of the best rooms in the house (#19) due to a last-minute cancellation by a regular visitor, and so happy I did! It has it's own patio that kind of joins onto the main dining area, but is separated with a little gate. I loved taking my breakfast out on the couch here. The room itself is big with vaulted ceilings, a massive closet (with a million hangers god bless you), and a great-sized bathroom overlooking a lush green garden area. There were plugs beside the bed for phone chargers and the TV had Netflix streaming. The bathroom always had plenty of towels and nice ammenities. The house itself: The house is beautiful and very cozy, even the common spaces like the living area with big couches, books and magazines. The kitchen is open and guests can get clean drinking water for free, make tea, help themselves to coffee, etc. Superb stay from start to finish. Wonderful atmosphere and quaint vibes. They earned their flawless review score for sure. Would love to stay here again.

This place is a jewel. The pictures on their website don't do the place justice! We celebrated a 50th birthday here with friends and family and cannot recommend it enough! Logan was the consumate host.

This is a small bed and breakfast located in Puerto Vallarta, located many stairs above the beach level of Puerto Vallarta. It is an old beautiful home that was made into a bed and breakfast. It is close to Palms cabaret, Margarita grill, Taco Panchos - all of these are must see while visiting PV. Reservation is easy either directly or thru booking.com. The manager, Logan is very friendly and communicative and will help you with a lot of things that you need. The place is very quaint. The breakfast is delicious. It has a rooftop swimming pool , where you can enjoy the view of the city. It has many nicely decorated spots where you can sit and relax, read a book or just chill. Logan even arranged for someone to come to the place to do the Covid testing prior to travel. Love this place!
