Villa Mariposa was the most perfect spot on the beach with water that was wonderful for snorkeling. There were many different kinds of coral, fish and even the occasional stingray you could find just right from in front of your beach palapa! The complimentary hammocks provided were put to use everyday and the home was even better. There were 3 floors, the third one being a marble staircase with access to the roof top for the most beautiful views. The kitchen had everything you could ever need to cook with and the host family (with their lovely daughter) lived right next door for any questions we had! They came to clean everyday and maybe more than once! We couldn't have asked for more. There were a few restaurants within walking distance of the house which were a great asset. The only thing we could have asked for was air conditioning (we were there in the hot/rainy season though Mid-End of october) with all the windows open and fan on, it was tolerable to sleep, but could have been a little better. With this being our only complaint, we would still stay here again in a heartbeat!
