★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El camino parece una vereda solitaria, sin embargo al llegar ahí, la tirolesa es divertida, tiene un costo de 350 pesos, la vista es increíble, el bosque te llena de energía. Recomiendo llevar tu botella de agua y comer antes, ya que allí no hay venta de alimentos. El personal es respetuoso y amable, pero tardan unos 10 minutos para atenderte.
The road seems like a lonely path, however when you get there, the zip line is fun, it costs 350 pesos, the view is incredible, the forest fills you with energy. I recommend taking your bottle of water and eating before, since there are no food sales there. The staff is respectful and friendly, but they take about 10 minutes to serve you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un poco desorganizados, ubicación apartada (es lo que buscaba pero no había dónde comer cerca, el restaurante estaba cerrado por reparaciones). Las vistas hermosas, pero el cuarto polvoriento, pagamos una noche pero nos fuimos a otro hotel después de hacer una caminata por su bosque.
A bit disorganized, secluded location (it is what I was looking for but there was nowhere to eat nearby, restaurant was closed for repairs). The beautiful views, but the dusty room, we paid one night but went to another hotel after hiking through its forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La atención no es mala pero tampoco la mejor, nunca pude contactarlos en los números publicados en su página, el lugar puede mejorar muchísimo tendrían que trabajar mucho en la limpieza y el aspecto de las habitaciones y en general de todo le lugar siento que está muy descuidado
The attention is not bad but not the best either, I could never contact them on the numbers published on their page, the place can improve a lot, they would have to work a lot on the cleanliness and appearance of the rooms and in general I feel that the whole place is very neglected

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viaje en familia. Renta de cabaña 8 personas.
Es la quinta zona de cabañas que visito en villa, siendo esta la de peor calificación.
Si bien no nos fuimos disgustados, hay mejores opciones en todos los aspectos, precios, servicios y descanso.
Pro: fácil acceso viniendo desde cdmx, está a 7 min sobre la carretera principal, todo pavimentado, por lo mismo hay tiendas cerca.
La atención de los trabajadores no es mala, es ausente.
El bosque da paz
Hay señal y tv
Contras: cabañas muy austeras por el precio, son las más caras que he visitado y las de peores condiciones; camas ya muy viejas, poca higiene, poco mantenimiento, fotos distintas a la realidad.
Ruido de la carretera.
El bosque no tiene zonas con llano (todo es vertical).
Hay perros que son agresivos con otros perros.
Restaurante mal aprovechado.
El lago que ellos dicen tener no tiene acceso.
Actividades fuera de servicio por mantenimiento.
Family travel. Cabin rental 8 people.
It is the fifth area of cabins that I visit in the village, this being the one with the worst rating.
While we were not disappointed, there are better options in all aspects, prices, services and rest.
Pro: easy access coming from CDMX, it is 7 min on the main road, all paved, therefore there are shops nearby.
The attention of the workers is not bad, it is absent.
The forest gives peace
There is signal and tv
Cons: very austere cabins for the price, they are the most expensive I have visited and the worst conditions; Beds already very old, little hygiene, little maintenance, photos different from reality.
Road noise.
The forest does not have flat areas (everything is vertical).
There are dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs.
Badly used restaurant.
The lake that they claim to have has no access.
Activities out of service for maintenance.

A good place, quite extreme, not recommended in a family environment but certainly for adventure. Mandatory to bring raid and anti-mosquitoes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lejos del Pueblo Mágico de Villa del Carbón. Un poco retirado de la carretera, se accede por una brecha de terraceria. Luce descuidado, falta mantenimiento de las instalaciones. El personal amable aunque ausente durante la estancia. Si hay señal de Internet. Me gustó la tranquilidad enmedio del bosque, el balcón con una vista espectacular. Recomiendo llevar alimentos y víveres ya que no hay venta en el hotel. No hay muchas opciones de hospedaje en los alrededores.
Far from the Magical Town of Villa del Carbón. A little removed from the road, it is accessed through a dirt road. Looks neglected, lack of maintenance of the facilities. Friendly staff although absent during the stay. If there is internet signal. I liked the tranquility in the middle of the forest, the balcony with a spectacular view. I recommend bringing food and supplies since there is no sale in the hotel. There are not many lodging options in the surroundings.
