When my husband suffered from Acute Heart Failure in the middle of the night, we rushed him to Merida's renowned Star Medica Hospital where he was very quickly attended to by several doctors and specialists and quickly diagnosed. Stenting Surgery was successfully done later that afternoon, and 4 days later, he was allowed to go home. We can't say enough good things about the care and treatment that we received from Dr.Villarreal - Umana. He speaks wonderful English, is a very caring, dedicated, and extremely skilled cardiologist. He was patient and understanding, answered ALL of our questions, and addressed ALL of our concerns.. He gave me his card with his personal email and cellphone number should I have any concerns regarding my husband. The nursing staff on the Cardiac and ICU floor are kind, caring and very well trained in their care as well... ALL IN ALL, my husband's cardiac episode was made much better by Dr. Villarreal-Umana's expert care and attention... I would highly recommend Dr. Villarreal - Umana for anyone looking for a very caring, attentive and extremely skilled cardiologist...
