Had a well-furnished, nice looking clean room with kitchenette and balcony. Two blocks to beach and restaurants but away from noise. Relaxing rooftop terrace, refreshing pool, friendly staff. Would stay there again!

DO NOT RENT GOLF CARTS FROM THIS HOTEL. We Rented a cart and we were driving down a steep road from a hill top property. There was four of us in the cart. The brakes failed. Long story short we had to jump off the golf cart going at least 20-25 mph on a steep hill before the golf cart violently crashed into a wall and tumbled another 20 yards down hill from there. My wife broke 3 bones in her foot and lots of road rash. The rest of us are bruised and covered in road rash but thankfully no other serious injuries. Had we not had the courage to jump one of us would have most likely died. I’m not exaggerating or being dramatic. If you have been to Sayulita you know how steep and dangerous the mountain roads are. THE WORST part is the owner, Cristina ulloa Martinez extorted is out of $1000 dollars. The traffic cops came and said that if the real cops came I might go to jail!!! I said what?? Her cart fails, she has a history of this happening, we could’ve died and all suffered injuries, and I have to pay $1000?! I don’t know the laws there so I paid. But this nasty woman immediately played the drunk american tourist card. I DON’T drink!..I’m diabetic! I blew my breath on the cop for him to smell and offered to take a breathelizer. She was LYING, HEARTLESS, and SHAMELESS. EVEN WORSE 1 month prior the exact same thing happened to a man, his wife, and their 6 year old child. RENTED FROM THE SAME HOTEL. The child was flown to Texas for emergency surgery on his clavicle. We found this out afterwards. One of the neighbors recommended we sue and told us the story. We’re exploring our legal options but I don’t think we’ll get far in Mexico. BEWARE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOTEL

Stay away!! This house (NOT family-run hotel) should be called the "Snow White" cabin and not because it's a party pad, but rather one BAD apple! Looks good on the outside, but rotten on the inside. Ownership nickel and dimed us for everything, so much so, we were not comfortable using any of the amenities, making our stay miserable. And chefs, cleaners, staff are no better, all the pre-negotiated services changed prices as soon as we got there. This place ended up costing significantly more than we were lead to believe. Ownership must have paid for all the 5 stars they've received.

We rented a golf cart from this hotel and the golf cart malfunctioned. The brakes gave out as we were going down a steep hill. There were 4 of us on the cart and we had to all jump out all suffering from various injuries. The worse which was one of the girls fracturing her ankle in 3 places. As we all lay lying on the ground with terrible injuries and cuts the hotel owner demanded that we pay him for the golf cart and that there were no problems with the golf cart. I would stay far away from these people as they could care less about our injuries and were just looking to get money for their golf cart which was broken when they rented it to us. I would assume they would react the same if there was any issue in the hotel. They never even asked if we were ok or sad sorry. STAY AWAY (this ruined our perfect trip)

Our room was great! The pool was warm and inviting. The staff were nice, friendly and very helpful. It's a little bit far from the center but more private so we didn't mind the extra walk (around 5 minutes more). There are also nice restaurants close by, very convenient for a late night dinner or snack. The only thing I would suggest is to put coffee/coffeemaker in the room. There is a breakfast place nearby, probably a 2 minute walk, serving good coffee so it turned out okay.
