Villas El Morro - 40880 Zihuatanejo

Given the very affordable price, it is everything we expected. It is clean, friendly helpful staff. Rooms are cleaned every day if you want that. Lots of hot water. Wifi is slow but always works. Our room on second floor has an absolute stunning view. Most rooms have a balcony but some don’t and that would have been a real disappointment to no have one. The pool is clean and so refreshing. Don’t need to rush there to save a spot! It’s a nice walk to El Centro where we have our diner. we take cabs back - the steps are a mean hike up. Cab is only 50 pesos and never had any problem there! Our only issue was the bed was really hard, like really hard. After 4 night I couldn’t take it so I asked for something to be done. They changed our mattress. So ya we think we got exactly what we paid for, not the Wyndham but we didn’t pay Wydham prices! Thanks El Morro for a great holiday in Zihuat!

We still miss this place, it was absolutely amazing. I hope we make it back someday. The view from the room and living area was the most amazing view I have ever had. We were lucky enough to watch a full moon come up across the bay. Loved it!

A decent place, clean rooms and very friendly staff. If you don't mind walking or cab rides, the view of Zihuatenejo bay is stunning. This is a very economical choice, all the equipment you need to cook for yourselves. We've spent 2 different trips here and have really enjoyed ourselves.

Really nice hotel for a reasonable price !

Beautiful view, nice pool with more of the beautiful view, friendly staff and clean rooms. The only bummer: You have to turn the electricity off when you leave the room. We’d return to this off the beaten path gem.

Love this hidden gem up in the hills. I really love my ocean view room with a balcony and feels like a mini kitchen with the room. I can watch the sunrise on the balcony of course late January early February and fisherman going in and out to fish and stuff. Lots of fun friendly people stayed there as well. Awesome pool with a lovely view and a close by bathroom which was really clean. The rooms were had nice good materials to make such in the bathroom has decorated sink and towel holders. The shower runs great and hot water right away. The wifi service is great and a tv that has all kinds of channels and in English too. Nice big fridge and freezer, coffee maker, microwaves, utensils. All this yet what a deal great price better than expected. There's also a mini bar restaurant below it that does happy hour too and people sweeping the property and cleaning the pool compared to some expensive place where the pool looks a bit dirty. If you don't mind walking down and up the hill you can always catch a ride that passes by all the time or cab to downtown. Definitely when in Zihuatanejo will be coming back here with friends.

For around $50, you kinda get what you would expect. Great pool overlooking the bay, decent bar, every room has a nice view. Why only 2 stars? No air conditioning, bed was covered with only 1 sheet, microwave barely worked (took me 10+ min to make microwave oatmeal), and you could hear every rooster and dog in zihuatanejo...all night long.

Amazing view and friendly staff. Room was super clean and nice. Couldn’t ask for more! We only stayed for one night before our flight but wish we had stayed longer. Definitely would come back!
