The hotel itself was nice, the suites as well. We assume that all of the rooms are junior suites. All rooms on the ground floor are a little bigger since they have a terrace and more space were the rooms above have their balcony. The only things that could be improved are the following: - hot showers (currently it is not so comfortable to wash you hair at a more or less warm water rinse) - the permanent feeling you have to tip the service personal

The rooms and beach are absolutely great. The service on the other hand, is horrible. Breakfast seems like a little act to get thru, and beach service is the worst. Staff just makes one mistake after the other. It’s really a joke. I’m sorry to say it this rude, but people working here are just dumb, I think that’s the main problem. Please train your staff better.

Most importantly: Value for money is ridiculously bad: facilities and rooms are 20 years old and were never overhauled. Room is full of bugs and cleaning service is quite bad (superficial) breakfast is mediocre, garden is very nice, private beach is good (but you need to be there early if you wanna get one of the very scarce umbrellas, of which they said they for some authorization issue couldnt get more which is a joke). Staff at the reception is friendly but they are not very knowledgeable and are not able to address concerns of guests appropriately. If you have a comparable alternative, go there.

Disappointing experience overall. The staff was mostly unfriendly and not helpful - a first for me in Mexico thus far. The breakfast was terrible and the bar at the beach was limited. The rooms were very dark and basic but they were fine (despite the plugs not working and them claiming American voltage plugs don’t work there so worth taking that into account if you’re staying here). The best part of the hotel is the beach they’re in - we thought it was one of the best in the area. For the price, they really should improve the customer service experience as it wasn’t worth it.

This was a lovely stay. My husband and I took a plane over to Holbox for 2 nights and stayed here. It felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, it was so cool. As we entered the reception area that is all open air we were greeted by Jose the Bellboy. He was extremely nice and catered to our every need. He seemed to just appear whenever necessary, an excellent quality to have. He took our luggage up to our room (stairs, no elevator) and brought it back down when it was time to leave. He was always eager to assist. The reception area is huge and has an enormous thatched roof. There are several accesses from the reception, one to the road (with a gift shop attached). another to the pool and around to the restaurant and other rooms that eventually leads to the beach, and the third that meanders around the property, eventually leading to the beach. It’s extremely well maintained with the dirt pathways all around. The pool was the most absolutely spotless pool I had ever seen. It was beautiful. There were at least 3 iguanas living around the area and were interesting to watch. We ate both breakfast and dinner here and it was delicious. They are still serving breakfast buffets so you could get an assortment of items. Dinner was offered by menu. The room was nice and comfortable. The air worked so well that we were actually a bit chilly. We had a balcony that overlooked the pathway meandering throughout and so many tropical plants growing, it was gorgeous. There’s an area for outside lounging that does not have a pool and it’s just before crossing the road to the beach. That’s where the full service bar is. They also serve at the beach. We ate snacks and lunch without having to leave our chairs that are also provided. Roberto was our beach waiter and was always checking on us and bringing us snacks to munch on. He was excellent and extremely friendly. Carlos was the Beach Manager and assisted us with anything we needed. The property over all was wonderfully laid back and definitely quiet. I would highly recommend this property.

Incredible stay. Right next to beautiful beach. 10 min walk along beach to downtown. Also has a lovely, quiet sand garden to enjoy the sun but without the bustle of the beach. Food and drinks were available on the beach and in the garden with wait staff. Staff were phenomenal. Highly recommend the all-inclusive package. It contains a tremendous variety of food and drink. Every meal at the buffet was tasty.

Read some bad reviews here. Can only confirm they aren't true what our stay concerned. We stayed there for 6 nights. Our room was very nice and also the cleaning people did a good job every day. We only had dinner once in the restaurant as there are lots of restaurants on the island. The surroundings are really great, nice garden, nice reception building. The beach is very close and nice too. There's a great service of the barkeepers on the beach too. Only a few comments. There is a cocktail bar nearby which can be quite noisy till late evening. When the windows of your room are open at night this can be a bit interrupting. Further, the wifi in the hotel is very poor. I think this is the main problem. Overall it was a great experience with great and friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were so helpful (shout out the Emanuel especially) and they made our stay very pleasant. The hotel room was great, very clean and the maids replaced towels and sheets everyday. The breakfast was also great, so much variety and the staff were really prompt and polite, re filling coffee if you needed it etc. what we also loved was that they had their own beach beds on the beach that you could use which just made It so simple and easy for us. Overall a positive experience
