Positive: Loved the location, it was right near downtown, but the area around it was quiet and without street noise. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The place was clean, comfortable and had a decent kitchenette.. Negative: The only issue for me was how echoey my particular room was. It over looked the small quaint pool which was also near reception and I was able to hear most everything. Including the heavy metal door that allows access to the property..

Positive: Comfortable and spacious...bedroom with king size bed....kitchen small but efficient...could have had tea towels....corkscrew. gorgeous balcony including hammock and ocean view. Close to city center but quiet at night. Very kind gracious staff...thank you jorge Antonio and Brenda for your hospitality. Great air conditioning in bedroom in bedroom and living room. Very nice accommodations. Ocean View Suite is beautiful, with a full porch with table seating for two and a hammock. A/c, a couple of pools (sun and shade), close to Plaza Centro but quiet, very well maintained.

BE CAREFUL. DO NOT STAY HERE. Not the Sayulita vibe as we’ve experienced elsewhere in this beautiful town for more than two months. This place was creepy and dirty-not at all like the photos. Rude staff. Rude owners. Definitely the worst hospitality experience I’ve had staying at hundreds of places across the world-I’m a 14-year hospitality consultant and absolutely understand the struggles in the industry. I extend all the grace I can. If you’re curious what you’re getting into check out the photos from our conversation-attacks us for being from LA, hates on vegans, English-speakers bringing tourist money in, and I’m pretty sure has no respect for women. Note our tone (which was constructive) versus his. Go on TripAdvisor - not the only person with these issues. It’s not because we are from LA or vegan. Lol

This somewhat retro hotel was a highlight of our trip. It was a short walk up a hill from town and less than 10 minute walk to the beach. The views from our third story balcony were unbelievable. Seeing the surf, the sunrise and the stars at night from the well equipped balcony made the walk up the stairs so worth it. The pool was also very serene and relaxing with an infinity effect, palm trees, lounge chairs and umbrellas, and beautiful flowers and grounds. The only thing lacking was kitchen counter space, and the refrigerator was a bit noisy. Super nice staff and very helpful, their English skills were not excellent but they made sure to figure out a way to communicate. I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sayulita for short or longer stays!!

Good location, spacious room, beautiful patio with small view of ocean. Can sit and people watch on the patio. Maid service daily but didn't do the dishes or clean kitchen. Pool is tiny and in the shade all day but there is access to larger, very nice pool next door. Would stay again.

BEWARE! Definitely the worst place I have ever stayed at! Upon check in I was not given access to my room because the booking was under my friend's name who had not arrived yet (although the hotel had been notified I would arrived first, room was fully paid and I offered them to take a deposit from my credit card). After 2 hours of discussing they provided me with the room which was humid, dirty and had a small bed although we had booked a Queen Size. Next to the room there was a common area w kitchen (dirty!!). At 9:30pm a group of 6 drunk people started to cook, scream and put their music on maximum volume. The hotel staff did not do anything about it so I ended up leaving the hotel because it was unbearable. I have stayed in a lot of hostels and guest houses and never expierenced this kind of noise by other guests. The next day I went back (togehther with my friend who had made the reservation) and there was nobody at the front desk to let us in, our calls were ignored, her number was even blocked. We had paid for 4 days in total and did not stay one night. Of course we never got a refund or a call to let us know if the noise situation was solved, so we could have stayed at least 2 nights. Had to pay double and wasted lots of time trying to check in.
