It is such a good idea and cute as can be little units but honestly we had a very very bad night. The neighbors were up talking for hours and rooms are not well soundproof. We asked them to quiet down around midnight and they did, but they were at the other end of the complex, so it was kind of embarrassing to have to ask. And then on top of this the neighborhood dogs howl and bark nearly all night. So.Many. Barking.Dogs. When the roosters started crowing at 1am, we just had to start considering it funny. Intermittently, some kind of revving motors down the main road- drag racing?! It can’t even be considered white noise because it kept changing. The manager was ever so, ever so nice. Really kind and helpful guy. I feel bad about all this negativity but I think you need to know that it's just incredibly noisy at night. Maybe you will be ok here if you are particularly insensitive to sound. We changed our travel plans due to the bad sleep night. Perhaps better to stay somewhere overpriced in Holbox.

This was a delightful experience. We were welcomed at midnight due to a flight cancellation and just needed a place for the night. We had to catch the 6am ferry to Holbox. Very clean! Wish we could have stayed longer .

Had the best experience here, I did a road trip for my birthday and actually forgot to book a hotel for one of the nights. Arrive to Chiquila late after a long busy day and was lucky to find this place. Elena ( I believe is her name) was very accommodating and helpful. She even suggested we leave our car there while we went to Holbox. I’m looking to book again which is why I’m writing this review two months after the trip. The hotel was clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Over all great place to unwind before heading out to Holbox,

We missed the latest fery to Isla Holbox. Around 11pm, we had to find a place to sleep. The owner of the place was very kind and helpfull. The cabins are small but clean and have a good airco.

Incredible hospitality! Very accommodating with comfortable rooms and a place to park the car while we went to Isla Holbox. There is coffee in the morning but no breakfast

Rome wasn't build in 1 day but this amazing place was built in 6months. she is a beautiful woman and we really enjoyed our short time here. unfortunately most of the time was spent over in holbox, if we come back in the future it will be just to hang around the pool and chill area. cheap beers, great company... what more can you ask for?.(comfortable clean spacious rooms with a homely feel) this was the first time we actually felt safe and at home. Only negative was the WiFi! alittle noise at night a chicken and dog here and there but get over it? thank you so much see you in the future.

We spent one night in the Villas Yalahau, because the next day we went further to Holbox. The staff was really friendly. The tiny houses you get are small but also cosy. We have two suitcases and two bags and the space was still enough. The pressure of the water was good. It needs a short time for warm water but it works well. The Toilets are clean. Also the bed was really clean. For me the mattress feels a little bit hard, but that's not a big deal. Overall highly recommended :)
