Vimex Vacation Rentals - 77710 Playa del Carmen

We stayed for a week with the on a residence called el faro on Playa del Carmen, we had an issue with them because we booked an apartment with them in aldea Thai and for unexpected reasons the owner of the apartament had to cancel the reservation there. Vimex team take care to look for other place for us and with beach front ! They were always Responsive and we had a good stay at the other apartment they found us. I will book with them again for sure

From the moment we arrived we had issues. Plunge pool didn’t work and pump ran loudly from 6 pm to midnight. No hot water. Bed frame broke at 2 am. Blinds fell off the wall at 7 am. Poor communication. This was all communicated to the host as it happened. We left the next morning to a different place. I do not recommend this company.

We have been renting with Vimex for a while now and the staff is polite, honest, easy to deal with and the service is excellent! Whenever we have a request, Jan or someone on staff always respond quickly and do their best to accomodate us. I would highly recommand this agency which has been for us a blessing after many years of research for a nice condo at a reasonable price in PDC. The people are very attentive and extremely accommodating in every sense! Our hostess was very responsive and quick to react to our needs. The location is well situated within Playa and has easy access to the beaches and the strip at 5th Ave! I’ll gladly stay here again on my future travel plans to Playa del Carmen!! I’ll gladly recommend this vacation rental to anyone who will listen!!

I am currently staying at one of the properties hosted by Vimex Vacation Rentals. There service and importance to detail have been very professional during our stay. They offer a number of services including In-House Chef Services as well as Massage Therapy.

We came as s family. We had a very nice and very clean house in Playacar for 4 weeks. The kitchen was fully equipped. Pool was big and great. Everything exactly as described and shown in fotos. The service is great. We liked to communicate via WhatsApp. This was so easy. Every question such as were to rent bikes, where to get the best pizzas or whatever was answered instantly. We were happy and would definitely come back again. Thanks for the great time.

We have used Vimex for the last 8 years in Playa del Carmen. We have lived in Playa for 20+years and it was always difficult to find reliable cleaning and maintenance personnel. We finally found Vimex and started with weekly house cleaning. Vimex provide us with on-time excellent, trustworthy cleaning. We then needed help with general exterior and interior house fixing help. Vimex’s staff of “fixers” was outstanding. They fixed everything from Calcium clogged water problems, wifi providers to roof leaks.

We stayed at Lagunas de Mayakoba, villa number 5 and we had a wonderful stay. The villa had everything we needed, it was well kept and clean.  The beds are really comfortable and the towels are soft. I thought it was a nice gesture to have two gallons of water for our stay.  Isabel was a wonderful person to work with, I was not expecting to have a host for our trip. She welcomed us from the moment we landed and was very attentive to our requests and questions. She resolved our issues quickly and effectively. Her recommendations for dining and tourist sites were wonderful.  She checked on us frequently to make sure we were doing all right. We enjoyed every minute of this vacation and we were so pleased with this rental that we are going back at the end of this month. Unfortunately, the same villa will not available for our future stay but I'm sure the one we got will be as nice as this one. For people living in the USA, Isabel recommended a company to have the covid test at home. That was super convenient. Daniel came to our villa and did the tests pain-free. He was awesome too.I had an issue with my credit card and Angel Host was very understanding. She was also very responsive and professional. Overall great customer service, the staff at Lagunas de Mayakoba was very attentive. Their hospitality is second to none. I highly recommend this place to stay, we are so happy to have found it and I hope we can return many more times. Nancy Rodriguez
