★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good. I had researched a nice place to take my father to eat lunch. We walked in at 2 pm and were the only people there. For this reason alone, it should not have taken over an hour to get our food. Service was slow, and the food was bland. My father has worked in the food industry most of his life and he just kept repeating how people would have walked out. I think this place does not cater to locals, so do not expect authentic flavors! The guac had no zest or citrus, and was served with no salsa:( The rice was dry. The best thing was the orangeade. The presentation is good but the food was not. I give it 2 stars because they help out the community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous 5 star experience ? the best Mexican restaurant we ever eaten in . Nice quiet ambience, delicious food, the stuffed pepper and the flan are the absolute best on the planet. Best private brand white tequila I have Ever had. Service is excellent. Will definitely recommend and return again. Donandjen Spangler Hospitality institution international

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good restaurant. Charming setting, like any good restaurant in Mexico. Really good margaritas. And the filet ranks in the Top Five steaks I've ever had. And I have eaten a couple of tons of steak in my life

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming place, great food, fair prices
Viva México is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Its tree-lined courtyard setting offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and great mountain views.
Service is friendly and the food is frankly excellent. Prices, too, are fair, given the quality of what's on offer.
Pro-Tip: The Chile en Nogada is superb.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous place to eat lunch or dinner. The portion size is very large, especially the salads. Our group had fajitas, coconut shrimp, shrimp wrapped in bacon, tuna steak and salads. All of the food including the guacamole was excellent. Highly recommended.
