★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even if you're heading to San Martin Tilcajete to Jacobo y Maria Angeles' studio, it's still well worth visiting their store in Oaxaca. You'll see some of their beautiful alebrijes, as well as less expensive works from other artists in their studio. The store also has paintings by Jacobo y Maria, and a large selection of beautiful, handpainted copal and silver jewelry at very reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and helpful, in Spanish or English.

We bought something to be delivered to our Mexico City hotel, with a window of 10 days. After back and forth with the delivery company which pretty much ruined our vacation mode, the item didn’t arrive. I have been waiting for a refund since November, after almost 5 months they are refusing to give back my money. I will not trust them.
