I couldn't get there and the townspeople don't know where it is. I took a picture of something I think it is but I'm not sure ...

Inactive volcano shaped like a molcajete 5 min by car from the town. Panoramic view taken with my drone 400 meters high from the slopes of the volcano.

A very nice place to visit, if you like hiking or cycling, it is located 4 km from the municipal seat of Mascota. The current state of the volcano is inactive, covered with a wide variety of vegetation, it is a challenge to climb to its top from which you can see a wonderful panoramic view of the town of Mascota and its surroundings.

Very nice place to have a view of Mascota. A little tricky to find yhe trail, buy there is a small opening in the stonewall on the West at the highest point of the road. You enter and follow the trail left (north) until you hit stone walls again. The trail to the top follows basically one stone wall.

Another reviewer explained the entrance well: on the highest point of the road, adjacent to the volcano, there is an inconspicuous entrance. I have added a picture of what the entrance looks like. The trail is a tad overgrown but clearly visible overall. Lots of varied vegetation along the way. Amazing views from the top. There is a trail leading down to the center of the volcano. I didn't go in to the center this time but hope to return soon for that. There is a pumice fence running through the center that is simply incredible. Don't miss this beauty if you have an adventurous spirit.
