I took this course (+1 hr private lessons) for two weeks and in that time I learned so much! I studied with Tessa, who was an excellent teacher. She's very knowledgeable and explained concepts in clear and helpful ways, while also maintaining laid back learning environment that allowed us to comfortably speak and ask questions. Tessa also taught us about the city and culture. If you are visiting CDMX, this is a great way to start each day-- highly recommend!

I studied here for 3 weeks. The school is well-organized and the format of moving between different cafes and sometimes seeing historic or cultural sites works well. My class was small, typically 3-5 people, mixing grammar and exercises and conversation. I studied with Emir who is very passionate and knowledgable about language and linguistics. Though I was uncertain at first whether the program would be academically serious or just wandering around looking at sites, it was the best of both these things - a real and well-organized academic program, combined with some cultural exploration. My only suggestion for the school would be to have the different small groups meet each other, maybe at the start of each week. At about $140 US for 20 hours a week of class, this program is a very good deal, and I hope to return to study here again.

When I signed up for this class, communication was good for payment and where to meet for the first day of class. Meeting in a new cafe each morning with a different excursion was a really fun way to learn more vocabulary and culture. Adrian was my teacher and I think he’s an awesome teacher and is very patient and excited for his students. I suggest if you can request him. Our class interacted with Saul for the walking portion of class and he was very friendly and helpful as well.

I took Spanish classes from Walk Spanish for eight (8) weeks.   I loved the class format.  We had three (3) hours of class which included instruction, exercises and conversation.  We usually took a 10-15 minute break midway through.  The fourth hour of the class we usually spent in a park playing a game to enforce our Spanish learning.  On occasion we’d visit an open-air market, take a tour of an area of Mexico City, visit a museum or have a meal together.  I highly recommend both Saúl and Adria as professors.  I believe Walk Spanish is an exceptional value.

I took 7 weeks of Spanish classes with Tessa at Walk Spanish. Tessa is a warm, welcoming and patient teacher who genuinely cares about her students and shares invaluable knowledge about Mexican culture and daily living. She made every day fun and interesting! Meeting at different cafes allowed me to explore so many beautiful areas of the city, and I really enjoyed our afternoon speaking practice trips to parks, museums, art galleries, and historical sites. My Spanish improved greatly and I look forward to coming back for a refresher course the next time I'm in CDMX!

I have had an enriching experience with Lidia teaching me Spanish. She is very experienced in delivering information in a digestible way and when our learning curve became steep and we hit a wall she found a fun and creative way to keep us engaged with new idioms and fun sayings Mexicans have. She adapts the class well to our learning styles, pace and interests. She provided a ton of useful, focused information that she either bought or created herself to help us learn complex aspects of Spanish. She went above and beyond in the class and outside of it too, to show us a good time and help me navigate a reasonable deal with a hair stylist ^_*. I would highly recommend her to any level of learner and hope she is my teacher when I return!

Lidia was an excellent Spanish teacher. I was nervous an intimidated, and she was calm and reassuring. Lidia was very kind and patient with me, and she was easily able to identify not only what to teach me, but how to teach me, so that I had the best learning experience possible. I felt much more comfortable speaking Spanish after my lessons with her. Lidia took me out in Oaxaca to help me learn to ask for menu items, pay for food, and ask questions in a market. She even took me to some amazing taco stands in Oaxaca that were fabulous! I would highly recommend Lidia, and if I visit Mexico City again I would definitely ask her to teach me more. She is also a lovely person with a great sense of humor.

We took one week beginners classes + 1 hour private lesson on a daily basis. Adrian was our teacher during the group lessons and he was an amazing teacher, very enthusiastic and kind! If you want to get a proper understanding of the Spanish language, if you want to expand your Spanish vocabulary and if you want to get to know the Mexican culture, this is your best option! ☺️
