Check out lines 15 to 45 minutes long and NO ONE cares. Dairy case is FULL of products past the expiration dates. Employee block aisle with no care in the World about the customer. Weekly reports of stolen pursers and wallets with a Manager who simply shrugs his shoulders. Why would anyone shop here! BTW, Walmart is NOT less expensive than other stores....it's just that their product is a far less quality. You get what you pay for.

This Walmart offers American grocery products. There is a vast selection of food products

Great location in the heart of everything. Selection is not the greatest compared to a larger store in Guadalajara. Prices are good and they do have a few things for the foreigners like coffee cream and imported butter.

I don’t usually leave reviews of supermarkets but the line is long and I’m bored.

Lots of products here but terrible checkout time. There is always a long line of people waiting to check out. I would think that Walmart would be a little more concerned about customers' time and hire a few more checkers. Also I have many door dings on my new car from their parking lot. Be careful and Park away from the crowded and small parking spaces.

Where to begin? This could be an excellent store if they actually trained their staff. Shelves are stocked in the middle of the day with the supply carts blocking the aisles and products spread out all over the place. Need something where they're blocking the aisle? Usually it's "too bad, so sad" if you're even noticed at all. Of course, there are some who will smile, move the blocking item(s) and try to help. Unfortunately, they're a small minority. The worst is the checkouts. If the cashiers aren't watching their cell phones, they're having a great conversation with each other and feel that the customers can wait. Today, I had a cashier tell me my total and just as I was about to put my card in the machine, she's interrupted by another customer who had already checked out, but who had jammed her way back with her cart and then proceeded to start talking to the cashier about her bill. Instead of telling her to wait one moment and she'd be right with her once she's finished with me (it would have been less than a minute), the cashier just stops what she's doing with me and then turns her back on me to talk with the other customer. Was I angry? Yes, because she NEVER SAID A WORD to me. Had she just done the "permiteme," I would have waited. Had she told the other woman she'd be with her NEXT, it would have also been fine. Instead, she ignored me and handled the other woman. It wasn't the wait that bothered me, it was the disrespect. This is NOT how you handle a customer interrupting another. There are so many other incidents with the staff that I've witnessed happening to others, but this one was just the final straw, small though I know it is. Note: this was originally written EIGHT months ago. It's gotten worse. Today, a Saturday has ONE regular open. The photo is what is in front of me...there are four others behind.

Could be a nice Walmart if the employees thought one bit about customer service and safety. Employee carts are constantly blocking the aisles and many are hiding and playing on their phones. This can be seen in many of the photos I have uploaded. Please note that these photos are all from one visit and this is not the worst I have seen in my visits to this store. I try not to go to this location because the Guadalajara store is much nicer with a better selection. I would suggest to the management that they should take a walk around the store once in a while and see what the employees are up to and look for safety hazards as well.

Eh it's an okay place to shop at I'm not saying its the best (yet I'm not saying its the worst). I've been here only once about a few months ago. I mean the employees could do some better. Also little story, I went to this store with my grandparents and a lady was saying something in English to my grandma (she's only a Spanish speaker) and told her where to press for the hand sanitizer, I answered her back in English and said thank you. Like I'm just saying, not all people in Chapala speak English. But either way it was all good.
