Clean very difficult to find. You have to pay for Parking in the shopping center.

Hey. It's Walmart. Three stars for being a reliable source of a mind-boggling array of goods and some services. (They have a locksmith, for instance.) One extra star for the reliability of the staff, the ice cream coming actually frozen and not mushy, and the big smiles i get from many of them now that i'm almost a regular. That makes this a four star review... almost. Docked one star for the absence of natural peanut butter, (Skippy 'Natural' doesn't make the grade in my book), molasses, gingersnaps, dark brown sugar, and any sort of toilet seat/lid with hinges that could survive more than a year of moderate use by skinny people. Oh, and they don't sell any sort of scraping tool in the tool section. To be fair, it took me over a year to find any store selling natural peanut butter; i only just discovered where to find molasses (veterinarian supplies store in Central de Abastos sells it by the barrel); and while i can get by with the brown sugar in toroidal bricks sold at every corner store, i have come to the conclusion that some items are just unavailable in this town. Fortunately the other massive grocery/department store catering to the wealthy, foreign, and the 'fresa' does sometimes carry gingersnaps, so i may be able to perpetually stave-off a nervous breakdown between that and my recent discovery of molasses. The toilet seat thing has frustrated me even at the local mamá y apá hardware and plumbing stores. So i guess hating on Walmart for this wouldn't make sense. They do what they do and they do it well.

Most of the time they dont have what you need.

Always just "okay", but a good place to shop for durable goods when in Oaxaca. Not for food shopping.

It's Walmart, what can I say. But it has international food and Spice options. And more products made in México than China.
