★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We highly recommend Wander lu'um if you are looking for an outdoor adventure in the Yucatan. We were a group of 9 people (4 adults, 5 kids ages 8 to 14) in early January 2019. The Wander lu-um team organized a full-day (8am-4pm) adventure for us that included bike-riding, cave exploring, cenote swimming, old hacienda viewing, and a delicious home-cooked local cuisine lunch. Rosbel and Gerardo are absolutely lovely people, very positive and supportive but also well-organized, knowledgeable and conscientious about security. (their level of English was also very good).
They gave our group a very personalized experience of the Yucatan, including small thoughtful details like a locally baked cake for my daughter's birthday, completely unexpected! It's clear that they are very committed to sharing the local culture with tourists, to giving back to the community (they employ members of the local Mayan people to support them), and to being great stewards of the environment.
We will definitely work with Wander lu'um again when we return to the Yucatan! Hope you will too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanderlum made sightseeing so easy. Rosbel and Gerardo provided itineraries that matched our interests and they know the best times to arrive and leave the attractions. They made the sights and the drives so enjoyable for us because of their extensive knowledge and their warm personalities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanderlum helped us organize a great camping trip in Tukax. They tailored the trip to fit our family, with zip lines and ruins nearby that our kids loved. We appreciated that they handled the coordination in English and took the time to make sure everything, including vegetarian food for my husband, was just right!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great tour! $2,015MX per person for 10 hrs from Uxmal to Valladolid with multiple stops along the way. Edgar was our very polite and patient driver, taking two middle aged gringas with limited Spanish to all four sites on the Ruta Puuc and Loltún caves before dropping us in Valladolid. He waited patiently while we explored each site at our own pace, and then accompanied us on the amazing cave tour. He was a bit shy and didn't initiate a lot of conversation, probably due to his limited English, but he was very observant, and thoughtfully pointed out things he knew would interest us. He noticed that we love animals and surprised us at one site with a little black "pantera" (kitten, haha) and directed us to some camouflaged iguanas that we would have overlooked. He was also a very careful driver and got us everywhere speedily but safely. It was a wonderful day on the road. Our only suggestion would be perhaps a bit more English (or other language) to bridge the gap for those who don't speak Spanish. Rosbel Serrano was very responsive via text and email when we made the arrangements through the website, and helped us design a special route that did not start in Mérida as usual. The tour was well worth the price and a generous tip to our sweet driver. Very highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanderlum Tours is a amazing tour company. I used them to do the Crystal Cave tour in Takeh. I message them through there website and recieved very quick responses. Rosbel was great with answering all of my questions and made it so easy for me to organize an outdoor adventure for my husbands Birthday. The driver Alejandro made us feel very safe and comfortable for the two hour drive to and from Takeh. The tour guide Julio and the translator Aundreas taught us so much about the town of Takeh, the mayan traditions and culture, we even learned about the natural wild life along the way to the cave. The cave it's self was an amazing experience and very different from the cave tours that we have done in the United States. After the tour Rosbel even followed up with us to see how we enjoyed the tour and to see how we were feeling after such an adventure and we where feeling absolutely amazing. I definitely feel like I got more than what I paid for. We will definitely use Wanderlum Tours for our out door adventures and to see the different sites around the Yucatan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I spent a week in the Yucatan peninsula. Among everything that we did, the Mayan Gastronomic Experience through Wanderlum may have been the best experience we had during our trip.
It started with a conversation with Rosbel. We initially spoke via e-mail but eventually had a phone call in order to confirm and finalize the plans. She speaks very good English and was more than happy to answer questions we had regarding both the gastronomic experience and the rest of our stay in Mexico.
The gastronomic experience was held at a small eco resort dedicated to Mayan tradition and led by a man named Pedro. If you've ever had a teacher or college professor who was so passionate about the subject that they were teaching that they made you eager to learn more about that subject, then you'll know what Pedro is like. He has such a strong and genuine appreciation for nature and Mayan tradition that I found myself appreciating the natural beauty of the Yucatan much more.
Pedro and his team were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming and we had a fantastic time spending the morning cooking with them. If you're looking for a more unique, grounded, and personal experience while near Merida, I cannot recommend this enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Wanderlum to anyone who is looking to experience the Yucatan. Wanderlum is a team of professionals and I was very impressed with their services. They made sure they had the correct address before the day of pick up and were on time on the day of pick up. Vicente was our guide and he told us so much about the origin of the Yucatan as well as gave us helpful tips on where to find inexpensive local items. His English was really good and he was very accommodating of our requests. Thank you so much Gerardo for organising our trip, the kids and my wife loved it very much. We will definitely be getting in touch again to visit other spots when next we visit Merida. Oh how much we miss it already!! ?
