I love taking my son around the world to experience the beauty of different cultures and landscapes. Out of the dozens and dozens of tours we’ve enjoyed, our day with Marisol and wanderlust tours remains first second and third place. Marisol made Mexico so absolutely beautiful and wonderful and accessible that I’ve been back twice in a year. And of course I call her every time I go. My all-time favorite tour was the butterflies. Her wealth of knowledge blows me away. I cannot see a Monarch without thinking of Marisol and all of the pearls of wisdom. She strategized it so we were with the butterflies alone on a meeting day. A single meeting day and they were raining down on us. I can’t think of a more magical experience and a magical guide to share it with. She was so strategic and was able to accommodate every last thing we wanted on our tour. Boats? No problem paragliding? No problem even at the last minute. My son chickened out but she could’ve made it happen. The 15 hours we spent with Marisol were the best 15 hours I’ve ever spent in Mexico. I can’t recommend her enough. I felt like she was a friend within the first half hour. Her English is exceptional. It’s almost like she doesn’t even have an accent. So easy to understand. Her interpersonal skills are just as strong. Very very easy to relate to. And she’s passionate about so many things, especially giving her guess magical experiences. Speaking of magical I did retain Wonderlust Tours on my next trip for a trip down to Tepoztlan and Azatlan. Once again Marisol you all of the most unique and hidden places to visit. I never would have uncovered that on my own in the amount of time that I had. I served in the Peace Corps many years ago and really treasure those intimate and close experiences with unique cultures. Marisol brings that in every tour she offers. And just as precious as her tours is her business ethic in supporting local communities. I learned so much about the Nahautal culture and their fight for land preservation as I did about butterflies and the Mexican government and economy and magic places, and cool fruits at the market she took us to, and shaman and life in Mexico. It was such a rich experience. It’s a one in 1 million travel opportunity. It’s like winning the lottery when you get a tour of this caliber. Don’t pass this up!

We booked 2 tours with Wanderlust tours and they were both amazing. We went to Grutas de Tolantongo and Xochimilco. Our driver and tour guide were very knowledgeable on Mexican history and were very accomodating to anything we needed. Don't be shy to suggest something! If you want to stop on the side of the road to take a picture of the beautiful landscape they will pull over! They customize the trip to your needs so be sure to let them know what your expectations are! The food places they took us to were very authentic if you're aiming to get the real Mexican experience.

The tour with the people of wonderlust tours MX was wonderful, the food was delicious, the places we visited were great and the people who received us were very friendly and welcoming, also my tour guide was super nice and friendly, he made the trip an unique experience.

The best way to truly experience the city and all it has to offer! The tour guide we had was great, not only because of the info he provided (he really did seem prepared) but also because of his first-hand knowledge of the sites we visited.
