★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant (100% sure that it came from here, won't get into details). Also, no the first customer to experience food poisoning (check other reviews). Incredible that the restaurant does not seem to take these reviews into consideration and improve their hygiene standards.
Tonkatsu very dry and tasteless.
Not recommended at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ramen is good ish. But the rest of the food is not impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly delicious ramen but don't expect a fully traditionalist style. Had the Tokusei and the Tan Tan. Noodles are chewy and soft, but they use the thin noodles, so they are cooked a bit over el dente for my taste. The cha-siu pork is well grilled, soft and great in texture. The broth for both soups were flavorful but I felt it was lacking the true pork bone, earthy aroma. The Tan Tan could use more punch - more spice and peanut. I expected a bit more toppings given the price. Maybe some bamboo roots and bean sprouts, but not sure if you can find bamboo in CDMX? Good presentation overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really underwhelming. The gyoza is well below average, tastes like store-bought. Ramen uses thin straight noodles instead of thick alkaline noodles, which is really disappointing. The tantan broth was severely undersalted, not spicy, had no sesame or peanut taste, and was thin, with way too much oil floating on top. Ground pork and chashu were well seasoned though, but not enough to make up for everything else. There's way better Japanese food in this city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Wanwan after a 3 day EDC marathon and I was not let down. The ramen was excellent. The broth was both creamy and tasty. The noodles (the definition of perfection) and pork chashu were superb. On a whim, I decided to try their onigiri. My advice to everyone is as follows...
GET THE ONIGIRI.
It was so damn good. Wanwan never lets me down. Ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch and I did not have high hopes but it still fell short. The ramen was very greasy, I have not had a ramen with so much fat or oil in it yet. The next thing we got were spring rolls and those came out raw inside. The gyoza we ordered did not have much flavor either. Overall a disappointing experience. We commented to the waiter that the spring rolls are raw inside but he didn’t say anything. I would have rated it 3 stars but they didn’t charge us for spring rolls we didn’t eat, which was very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, nice atmosphere and quick service. I’d say it’s one of the best ramens I’ve tasted in the city. The only “complaint” I have is the menu is somehow hard to read, it’s long and looks like an Excel table. I think it could be a bit more attractive if they had some pictures or would divide it with columns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Japanese food I'd had ever. While I tried a new dish I never knew before, the taste of it was amazing. And the main dish had so much flavor and it was incredible. Would come back for a different dish and snack for sure!
