Wasabi Loco Sportfishing Adventures - 77750 Puerto Aventuras

Just finished a 6 hour session with Wasabi Loco, caught 2 Dorado and 1 sailfish! Fantastic day out, well organised and lovely guys. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

I called Wasabi on short notice after another vendor cancelled on me and Vicki was able to work out a charter for me right away. The crew were absolutely super. Amazing experience worth every penny. The crew, Gabriel, Javier, and Darwin, was fantastic and very knowledgeable, but also amazing at explaining everything that was going on and how to do everything. Our trip started slow trolling without any success but got to enjoy the silliness of the crew and some fresh pineapple and tajin. They switched to a different technique to make sure we had the best success and just like that: 5 fish in the boat. After a few hours of getting some snapper and trigger fish we trolled back to the marina. Out of nowhere, sailfish on the line. The crew, that was more than capable of landing this trophy fish let my boyfriend catch the fish of his dreams encouraging and helping him the whole 10 minute fight. The excitement was electric. After we returned they let us choose our best fish and filleted it and walked it to an amazing restaurant for our lunch. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

We had a great time on our half day trip.The crew was fantastic with helping my boys ages 10 and 11 real in their fish. Will definitely use them again next time.

Booking was easy/flexible and the crew was great. We took out the tailwalker. Non-stop dorado action, biggest was 68.”Seas were a bit rough (20MPH winds) so we had a few hanging off the side of the boat, but the crew helped them out. Fishing was great in late May!

Had a great trip with Captain Javier, Gabriel and Gustavo! Very professional and lots of fun. I specifically wanted to fish for triggers and they put me on them! So good on the grill, but the real treat was the fresh ceviche made by Javier, with triggerfish. The owner Richard was very helpful and prompt with any questions I had before, during and after the booking process. Great time!

Absolutely recommend this charter to anyone, crew was great. We caught a couple triggers on board, and they filleted one for us into ceviche nachos right on the boat! Anything we caught was brought to a local restaurant and prepared as our lunch. 10/10 recommend

We fish on every trip we take, so we’ve booked a few chargers. It was a little odd getting to the boat but after we were on our boat we had a good time. We were rain delayed a couple hours so we missed the morning bite on sport fish, but after giving that their best effort the captains quickly pivoted to reef fishing to get us on some fish. They knew just what to do. We ended up catching like 20 fish (trigger fish, triple tails and snapper) and one of the crew members quickly grabbed a trigger fish and made it into wonderful ceviche for us to enjoy on the boat. I’d fish with them again if we are ever in that area.
