Actualmente en la zona más animada culturalmente de Guadalajara. Donde se encuentra este edificio, fue urbanizada a principios del siglo pasado, y fue conocida como Colonia West End. El edificio lleva el nombre que se remonta a los orígenes históricos de la expansión de la ciudad hacia las afueras: las zonas que rodeaban el centro de la ciudad que fueron conocidas como las “colonias”.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice area with nice accommodations at a reasonable price. Only complaint is the ac/heater didn't seem to be working. Also one of the blinds was missing in the large windows. While we were there (during the spring) the weather was fine during the day and manageable with windows open so it wasn't as much of an issue for us but at night it did get a bit chilly. The windows are large and in the living room/kitchen area. A couple nights the draft through the window got so cold that we tried plugging it with a towel. Luckily we weren't really in the living room area much during the coldest part of the night or it may have been a bigger problem and with the bedroom doors closed and using the blankets we slept fine. Might be an issue for someone else though if they like hanging out in the living room watching tv late at night though. That considered, we had a good stay and would return.
