E	Enrique Zenteno López on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yo estudié en este lugar, entonces llamado Escuela Urbana No, 11 "Modelo" de 1963 a 1968. La Directora era la Profra. Pachita, y mis maestras Alicia, Emma, Hermelinda Bravo y Luna, María de Jesús Limón González. Originalmente, había un trazado geométrico de jardín en el primer patio, alrededor de la fuente. En esos años era difícil cuidar del mismo por tantos niños. Obviamente, eran otros tiempos en que todo el sector era muy tranquilo, los niños íbamos y veníamos solos de la escuela. Yo lo recuerdo como un edificio bien hecho, resistente y que evocaría una mansión elegante de finales del XIX aunque fue construído expresamente como escuela por el entonces Gobernador Ahumada a principios del siglo XX. Uno de los detalles que ahora veo que no se perdieron totalmente, es el "trompe-l'œil" que representa un pasillo fingido en el muro en que remata el corredor sur, creando la ilusión perfecta en perspectiva, pues fue pintado con elementos arquitectónicos similares a los de la escuela, ojalá se pudiera terminar de rescatar; el patio trasero era donde se celebraban los eventos y festivales escolares; el pasillo poniente era donde se colocaba una vendimia a la hora del recreo. En fin, muchos recuerdos acumulados en torno a este lugar inolvidable del cual tengo una vívida memoria. Es un gusto enorme que se haya conservado y que se preserve justo para compartir conocimientos en materia de restauración mueble. Ojalá y cuando vaya a Guadalajara se me permita el acceso.
