My partner and I became interested in owning a home in Merida after our first visit there a few years ago. It took us a while to find a place as many properties we liked were under contract before we could get there to see them. When we were in town, Carol's partner Scott patiently drove us to see many properties and showed us the various barrios of the Centro area. We finally found a property online and immediately flew down to view the property and make an offer. We were totally new to the process of buying a property in Mexico but Carol helped make the process much easier. She flawlessly handled a very aggressive listing agent and put us in contact with a fantastic real estate attorney in Merida. Despite some ripples with the listing agent, the process ended up going very smoothly. Carol and her team have continued to help us after the sale with such basic things as how to get utilities set up and paid. Her entire office staff is friendly and helpful and I cannot recommend highly enough!
