★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took lessons to surf with Juan. He was friendly, knowledgeable and gave very clear explanations. We took our lessons at "La Lancha". The spot is perfect and much cleaner than Sayulita's beach. Highly recommendable school!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an amazing surf school! WildMex is awesome because they have such a well stocked outfit of surfboards, mtn. bikes, and staff! They also have pretty excellent locations! During my stay in Sayulita, we figured out how to get to La Lancha by ourselves and rented boards at their location RIGHT IN FRONT of La Lancha and then helped us get a taxi home after we missed the last shuttle to Sayulita. The next day, we took surf lessons at La Lancha and had a blast. We got Roberto as our instructor and learned wisdom beyond intro surfing. I would absolutely recommend this outfitter to anyone visiting the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place absolutely sucks. I rented a surf board and was quoted 150 pesos per hour or 500 for the day. You pay after and leave a id until you return your board. When we came back they were trying to charge me 900 for the day because they gave me insurance on the surf board. However not once was insurance mentioned in the morning. When I said that she called her boss (the lady that did not mention she was adding insurance) and told me that she trusted her boss more than me. An absolutely scam. The lady was also aggressive when I argued that I was not told about insurance

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome company! I went on a couple mountain bike rides and rented a surfboard for the week. The staff was great and even let me store my personal paddle board and my girlfriend’s surfboard there so we didn't have to lug them 15 minutes up the hill to our Airbnb. It was a huge help. We also felt safe storing our phones and backpacks there while we were out in the water. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renting from WildMex was a great experience. Staff was super friendly , very outgoing, knowledgeable about the area and equipment, and fun to dance with! The had a great selection of boards, and if I felt like trading one out to see if another suited me, it was easy to do. The price compared to the other local surf shops was incomparable, WildMex had the best deals and they are right at the beach. I also loved how they have multiple locations so you can check out other beaches and still be able to rent from them. Made my trip to Nayarit so much fun, truly grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lesson booked for 8 kids, ranging in age from 6-18 yrs old. They did an excellent job working with each kid. Everyone got up on the boards, and it was easily a highlight of our visit to the area.
Carmen, Octavio and Pollo were our instructors and all were very kind, patient and positive.
What a fun day.
We’ll be back and we’ll be using this company again.
