Juan Cortina Gallardo was born in Mexico City on August 3rd, 1968. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Grupo Azucarero Mexico GAM, one of Mexico’s largest sugar producers, since 1997. Since 2000 he is a member of the board of CULTIBA, Mexico’s only PEPSI bottler. Since 2007 He is a member of the board of Win Systems International, a software and manufacturer of gaming solutions with operations in more than 60 countries. Since March, 2007 he has been Chairman of the Board of the Cámara Nacional de las Industrias Azucarera y Alcoholera. Mr. Cortina has a Bachelor Degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM) and a Master in Business Administration from Harvard University
