So any kiteboarder knows and remembers their journey to get to a point to be independent. Oh, I took lessons with many instructors in Tampa, Maui, Ventana, Bay Area and to little avail. It was sad. It was until about three years ago I took instruction with Tim and Ceci that things changed for me very quickly. I broke through. I got my upwind. I got my back rolls, I got my jumps. They filled in the details. They taught me when I was ready to be taught the style that works for me and in the way they knew would be most beneficial. They are that good! They helped this poor kid finally progress with the advanced teaching concepts put everything together for me. They have taught Kiteboarding for more than 10 years all over the world in Egypt, Brazil, Greece, Portugal, South Africa and it really enjoy teaching and I think it is rare, perhaps very rare to meet an international couple so focused and committed to their students. And they know and I know that Isla Blanca is the best place for beginners to learn. Don't waste your time and energy with in other places or other instructors. Isla Blanca is where you will progress and you would be extremely lucky to receive instruction from them. Highest levels of respect for who they are as people, patience, intrinsic love for the sport, and ability to read people and move them forward to love surfing and jumping for years to come.

Picture one of the best spots in the world to learn, then meet the most accommodating and skilled instructors; add a pinch of technology in the form of a two-way radio-connected helmet, keeping you in touch with your instructor at all times. Learning doesn't get any more enjoyable and efficient than this. Thanks to Cecilia and Tim for making my dream of becoming a kitesurfer come true!

These folks are the BEST! Tim and Ceci and their crew are not only very talented and professional instructors but they are also just fantastic people. The location they teach is also the best. Shallow flat water allows you to concentrate on learning and not fighting the conditions. We just returned from Isla Blanca where my partner took a whole series of lessons over the two weeks and couldn't be happier with his progression. I took a couple of lessons to improve certain skills and was also very happy with my results. Tim adjusted what he coached each of us on based on what we each wanted to accomplish as well as what we each told him was our personal best way to learn. Not all coaches will do this! We higly recommend Wind Nomads for learning from scratch, for brushing up or for learning new skills to advance your kiting.

What a dream. The lagoon is prestine and provides an enormous playground to safely learn to kite. Tim and Ceci are amazing people, very helpful, and skilled instructors. Ceci was very communicative which made planning a breeze.

Tim & Ceci are awesome instructors, friendly and super cool. Isla Blanca is the best place I've seen anywhere in the world for kite lessons. Super flat water and only ankle to waist deep. Do your self a favour and get a few lessons here and you'll progress much faster than in the chop. Highly recommend these guys.

Amazing Kitesurf School! Super nice & helpful instructors. You can tell that they are really passionate about teaching kitesurfing - both for beginners and advanced kiters. And the kite spot in Isla Blanca is superb: steady wind, super flat water & shallow lagoon with plenty of space! Thank you Ceci, Tim and the whole team for this great experience!

Tim and his team are amazing! Extremely knowledgeable. They took me from 0 to confident on the kite. Up and going. It’s just practice at this point. I highly recommend them! His wife is alway a pleasure to book with and very accommodating! I’ll be coming back for sure!

Tim is an exceptional instructor and professional to learn kiteboarding with. I spent the week here and went quickly from beginner to intermediate skills.
