If keep inside colder, that would help with seasickness.
I can't imagine getting on it in the hotter months.
Overloading sweating and perhaps vomiting awaits.

In playa del Carmen is the entrance at the ground floor and one of the staff members took my ticket (to Cozumel) and told me to go upstairs for the waiting line. Up there another worker wanted to see my ticket so I told her that I already gave it to her co-worker downstairs. She said that’s not how it works and didn’t want me to enter the ferry because ‚I didn‘t have a ticket‘.
After a small discussion she told me to give me my return ticket so I can enter. Means I paid a round trip but had to give both my tickets to get to Cozumel. Absolutely insolent!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable seats. They sell beer, cocktails, soft drinks, snacks etc. Power plugs for charging devices. Very well air conditioned. Security screening w metal detectors. Bathrooms are clean and fully equipped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Use Ultramar if you can! I have used Winjet a few times now and every time I wish I hadn't. This time, even though last time I was able to, they waited until everyone chose their seats and informed me my cat, boyfriend, and I had to sit outside. My boyfriend ended up getting a seat with my cat outside, because I didn't want to sit on top of someone, so I had to sit inside and watch them allow 2 children to run up and down the aisles. Instead of letting me sit in the seat I had originally chose with my boyfriend, they would prefer to pack me in with a million people. So much for covid protocols! Mind you, the area they wanted me to sit was completely packed, yet the inside where we sat originally was completely empty. Even if you have to wait an extra hour, do it! Ultramar is a much better choice, and they have live music, and the ride is always smoother.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All good. I am just not giving 5 stars because there is an interval of 1 hour between the ferrys and Winjet only start the boarding process 15 minutes prior the departure, what is inexplicable and give you an unecessary rush principally when you have suitcases to dispatch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have seen negative reviews for this company and at first I was unsure about traveling with them. I found those negative reviews to be completely wrong. I went the night before our planed trip to PDC and the lady at the ticket booth was so friendly and helpful. We bought our tickets that night and she gave us an open ended ticket for the return. The ship left on time the staff was friendly and the area was clean. We arrived on time and as we exited they wished us a good day. On the return trip we had the same pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would use them again.
