About World International Vacation Club - Alta Vista
World International Vacation Club (WIVC) is a non-profit corporation, floating time, multi-destination, membership time-share club owned and operated by its members through an elected board of directors. Membership in WIVC is in perpetuity and fully transferable. With corporate offices in Palm Springs, California, WIVC has multiple locations in Mexico, Spain, and the United States. Members of the club enjoy the flexibility of floating time, which allows the use of their memberships at different locations and at different times of their choosing. Additionally, by virtue of membership in international exchange systems, WIVC members have the flexibility to use their membership in thousands of resorts the world over.
Since its inception in 1983, WIVC has continually provided its members and their guests with outstanding one and two-bedroom, fully furnished and equipped accommodations in some of the world’s most sought-after vacation destinations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been members since 1992 with WIVC. Nothing but praise for them when compared to others. We also own Vidanda. I uggest that you don't even go to presentation no matter what they offer. A one hour promise can turn into 12 hours and they will break you. WIVC is not 5 five star but in run honestly. Stay away from Vida.

We are owners and really enjoy the location of Alta Vista to old town, all the great restaurants and the malecon. This is our third visit and we plan to try the la playa location next time.. Carla and Edwardo offered excellent service and tons of local knowledge and reccommendations. we LOVE WIVC and the outstanding staff. See you all next year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place with a view of old town. The steep incline of the road leading to the condo may be a challenging walk for some, 50 to 70 pesos will get you a taxi to the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conchas Chinas location - Poor internet and can't rely on a good connection for work. The internet connection sporadically cuts out every 3-10 minutes, and getting a good signal is impossible. You can't use video conferencing, real-time/live documents or live-streaming. Otherwise, it's a great place for vacationing that's clean and nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really love this place. They have lots of "stuff" in the kitchens for those of us that cook on vacation (?) Plus a undercounter water filter. I like for the taste factor, I know I can trust resort water. The units are more than comfortable. & get this... drum roll... there are Plenty of outlets in logical places, even on the balcony, which is pretty spectacular, too. I have a one bedroom, so table & 2 chairs & a padded built in chase. Sweet. I only have 1 suggestion/complaint, there are two 3/4 bathrooms & the one off the master suite has a large enough shower for a tub to fit... ? The atrium & landings & pool side (with gas bbq & running water !) Are beautiful. I will trade here anytime I can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been WIVC members for almost 20 now and we have always enjoyed our stay each and every time. This however was not the case this time . We usually stay in the penthouse as this was booked we opted to stay on the first floor since it was closer to the pool. Since walking in to check in we were informed that there is no more smoking on the premises at all. Now as a smoker I was not over noted especially if you look at the brochures it doesn't state that you cannot smoke . Once we got to our room was sorely disappointed in it
My 3 yr old has a bigger TV than the ones that are provided for the rooms. So suffice to say this will be our last stay in the altavista resort
