★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding beach! One of the nicest on the Riviera. They do a great job at reserving the nature how it should be! Especially as turtles breed here. Strictly a non-smoking beach (they will blow whistles at you if you do) which I loved as I'm not a smoker and I think it's disgusting to smoke in such a beautiful place especially a place where wildlife breed and live. Sadly I still found used cigarettes in the sand but they do their best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great beach, relatively empty, no loud music or noises of any kind. Only down side is there was a lot of dead seaweed. 5 stars for the beauty of the water and how peaceful the beach was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting here by car is really a pain in the ...
Walking would be quicker. Unfortunately the beach is closing very early, at 4pm. No food allowed.
If you are exploring Yucatán this is definitely not a must see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful natural beach. No food or music allowed as it's a turtle sanctuary. Sometimes the water is calm and sometimes there are big waves! My pictures are from a calm day. It's one of the best places for snorkelling. We always see Eagle rays, rays and tons of fish and corals. There is an entrance fee of 88pesos per person and the money goes towards maintaining the turtle sanctuary. Hours of the beach are 10am-4pm and it is closed on Mondays. We find it very busy on Sundays but it's pretty quiet during the week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ONLY HALF OF THE BEACH IS OPENED! But they charge full price. Security guy said they closed it because there is not to many people, although there are A LOT!
the beach itself isn't better than akumal where you can get FOR FREE (read reviews on Google maps about how to get for free)
Waste of money, we regret we spent time here today

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few natural, undeveloped beaches in the area that is painstakingly cared for and preserved. During the sea turtle nesting season, only the northernmost part of the beach is open to visitors. This is where the best snorkeling is. At the far north end of the beach you will find a lot of corals and fish. A bit farther south there is sadly a lot of corals that have died due to climate change. If you have any questions about the nature, ask any of the staff members, many of them are biologists and will share information with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A huge wild beach for 90 pessos, I loved this place we were only 17 people all the afternoon. Here, there's no shop, no music so you can enjoy the sound of the waves. The place open at 10am and is very clean. Before 10 there's biologists that count the turtle eggs and manage them, that's why the entrance is forbidden. Thank to the workers and volunteers for maintaining this non commercial and natural place.
