We had the best tips for place to eat and do yoga from the Italian receptionist cosmiccolibri We like the private pool where we can stay all night, next time we can back to experience the Water massage! It be better to have dairy free option (soy, coco o almond) for breakfast. And healthy eating options

Great place, espiecially if you’re coming with the group. Great service, willing to help and recommend trips and restaurants. Unfortunatelly the Internet does not work well (mostly doesn’t work) and during our 3-night stay we never encountered hot water under the shower. The pool looks great but I had a feeling it was a bit dirty

Spend some time there. Hostel itself absolutely fine! Clean, good showers and close to the ADO Station. Staff was helpful if asked. But also not really involved.

Advertises as a hotel but is a hostel. It's a hefty walk from the water, the room is FULL of mosquitoes, the bathroom smelled horrible (something wrong with the sink trap), and the bed lamps kept flickering. The only thing for breakfast left if you don't get there right away is some cut up fruit if you're lucky and cereal/milk. The thing that really upset us was the wifi. It didn't work in the rooms and in the main area, it was super weak. There were a lot of remote/tele-workers and everyone was really frustrated. If you need to get any work at all or are relying on wifi for trip planning, this place isn't for you. The front desk confirmed that the wifi didn't work in the rooms and was barely better out in the common space outside. Additionally, the pool water wasn't high enough for the filter to work and it was murky and sitting still. Dunno...just stay somewhere on the lake with functioning amenities even if it's a bit more money.

Great hostel, love the staff too, super friendly. Rooms were clean and great toilet and shower facilities. Breakfast in the morning too was a nice addition! Only 15 minutes walk to the lagoons!

Wonderful hostel from start to finish. Super kind, caring and attentive staff and a wonderful design/overall layout. Really good vibe all around and quite clear that a lot of love has been put into this place. The rooms are super spacious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Worth every peso!!!

It's a nice hostles. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. Some people don't like the way the top beds are, I loved it. The outside area is nice just think there are some chairs/hammocks missing. The breakfast was nothing fancy but nice. Because it's Bacalar i think the price is okay.
