Xinalani Retreat - 48399 Puerto Vallarta

This was such a unique experience and exactly what we were hoping for. They do such an excellent job making the trip out to xinalani as easy as can be and are excellent at communicating all the important details of your stay. The place is magical...the food is excellent, the rooms are awesome and the property has everything you need. We met some really cool people while we were here too. My only suggestion would be to have multiple yoga instructors leading classes.

This place was awesome! You are able to definitely zone out, and be in tune with the environment. I really enjoyed my stay here. FYI: they provide you with mosquito repellent, but it is also great to bring your own…definitely will need it; also bring great walking shoes.

Amazing experience at Xinalani. I would come back here forever. The best staff and accommodations. Food is fantastic. Experience of a lifetime. I would have bought a souvenir however they were a bit low on supplies. Muchísimas gracias !

This resort got a 5 star from me - even though it is a BoHo chic eco resort and is rustic in places, I gave it that because the service was so incredible and the food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The staff remembers your name and caters to your dietary needs and if they discover something you did not tell them (say onions are not your friend) than they bend over backwards for you to give you great food, drinks and experiences. I was a Travel Consultant in the travel industry for almost a decade and worked for AAA and this place is beautiful, unique, gives top service, incredible cocktails, the rooms have phenomenal views and all while being able to do yoga, SUP, lay by the pool or take a boat to Yelapa with a Zoologist…and more! Whatever you do, take a trip to this lovely paradise and your welcome.

I went with my wife for 6 days and it was amazing. First thing is that you don’t need to do yoga, although one class is included everyday. The staff is really great, they get to know your name, room and what type of food and beverages you like. So by day two they were treating me amazing and felt very personal. The beach is very nice and quiet. The rooms has amazing views. If you hate animals, bugs and stairs, this hotel is not for you. Also, don’t come in case you are thinking of working on the beach. This hotel is more for really not anything and disconnect from the world. They don’t have TVs or good wifi, but that is the hole purpose. Loved the experience and I hope I can come back soon.

I planned an aerial yoga retreat here for November 2021 and every step of the experience was incredible. In my process of planning a retreat for my studios, Xinalani was by far the only resort who was professional and timely in their responses and communication. Their reservation staff are so patient, helpful and more than willing to answer all of your questions. Our experience at the resort was also amazing. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I personally was nervous about bugs and critters since the rooms are open air, but I barely saw any in our room and felt comfortable tucked away in my bug net at night. It's interesting that some people comment on the amount of stairs in their reviews, the stairs are not bad at all and they're totally worth it for the views! The food and excursions are amazing! I had the best massage of my life at Xinalani- I highly recommend! I'm in the process of planning our second retreat there and I can't wait to go back! I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

My first visit with my Love was really nice. I'd experienced better accommodations considering the cost, and my GF and i were focused on creating joy, love, and connection in a beautiful area of Mexico...not so much focused on rating the quality of the resort. We paid a premium for private quarters and experienced good food and twice daily yoga practice as part of the package. All in all, a nice place much like any other resort in the area. Nice folks. I would shop around.
