â â â â â It's been about 5 years since I've been and it has stayed with me. I was a bit uncomfortable at first. It's in the middle of the jungle. I questioned my judgement a bit. And it took a few minutes to get physically acclimated to the heat. But I'm so glad I stuck with it and stayed to the end. I really wish I could find something like this in the US. It will challenge you yet touch your soul.

â â â â â We had a fantastic experience at the Mayan Steam Lodge in Cozumel. It was our first Temazcal and we definitely want to repeat it! It is a unique thing to do in Mexico and especially on Cozumel at the Mayan Steam Lodge. The location is in the middle of a beautiful forest next to a Cenote. We completely relaxed and the treatment opened our minds.
