★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most fun I had in Mexico. It's a blast. There are vendor boats that sell food and beer. The boats crash into each other too, it's a bumper boat ride. There are Mariachi boats. It's a giant party. Go on Friday or Saturday. Do not miss this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a great experience... you can definitely make it your own. You can purchase a couple of mariachi songs, play your own music, you can bring your own food/drinks or purchase there or you can just sit and enjoy the sounds and calm boat ride.
you can purchase online tickets or in person, directly with the operators of the boats (you can get a way better deal like this)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bae and I went on a Sunday and it was poppin. (If you don’t want a lot of people, do not go on a Sunday). We enjoyed walking through the various vendors and browsing their inventory. Most vendors sell the same items so it’s worth finding the cheapest option. After looking through the market, bae and I purchased a 2 hour boat and hired various Mariachi’s to serenade us beautiful music. We were able to negotiate the price for the boat ride so highly recommend doing that. You will encounter various mariachi bands while you are on the water and they come at various prices. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful experience I had here with my friends. We decided to take the long tour to “La isla de las muñecas” and the “ajolotero” which was 4 hours in total, but it was absolutely worth it. It was a quieter weekday, so there were not a ton of trajineras on the lake, but that made the tour even more intimate and memorable. Our guide and trajinero (the person pushing the boat) was Miguel, and he was amazing. We weren’t only impressed by his strength but also his kindness and great storytelling skills. We encountered a trajinera with musicians and paid for a beautiful serenade. The whole experience was very affordable and amazing. We were able to get amazing food, beer and even a Bluetooth speaker before starting our journey, so we could play our own music the whole time, and even danced on the tour!!
La isla de las muñecas is such an interesting place, definitely eerie, so not for everyone, but I’m a horror junkie so I left the place smiling haha. It was cute to s the axolotes as well, although a bit sad, as they are in danger of being extinct. I recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mexico City and Xochimilco. Ask for Emanuel, he was the owner of the trajinera who was very kind and timely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a good time at Xochimilco, paid for 2 hours but only received 1 however. There needs to be a bigger selection of food and snacks for purchase. Really only advisable to go in big groups as it'll be more fun but still a great time to go regardless

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very relaxing experience, we went on a Tuesday which was not as packed as the people around state they get over the weekend. Not as much vendors or musicians around. It’s literally a floating fiesta experience. You are able to purchase food, drinks, desserts and souvenirs. Friendly people all around. Only thing i disliked was that once you get around they try to direct you to their sales people. IGNORE THEM!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place with nice people, but I do advice people selling there do take advantage of you. They even fallow you while arriving to xochimilco town in a scooter. My advice is do your research and go to the place you prefer. There are 11 different groups of boats and each have around 300 little boats. Each group have there own way to decorate there little boats.
