Excellent time aboard boat # 9!!!

Paula at Yacht Club Playa was super unprofessional. We showed up and paid for our boat. When they took us to the boat I said “this isn’t the boat we paid for”. Then at the same time another group showed up and we realized that they had us mixed up. However, Paul said “this boat cost more so you need to pay more”. A very weird uncomfortable situation because Paula works for the marina not the boy company. Not sure if she is running a scam or what. Be aware of her if your boat pick up is at Yacht Club Playa.

Great day on the water but a miserable experience with the staff before and after. They tried to bait and switch us on the boat we'd reserved, then demanded that we pay an additional $1000 to get on the boat we'd originally booked. We spent over an hour trying to get the situation resolved after we returned during which time the staff was combative, rude, and downright shady. Find a different company to work with.

Had high hopes for an awesome experience but got the bait and switch instead. We booked a 55 foot sea ray and got a confirmation. Upon arriving to the marina they tried to put us on another boat (considerably smaller) then made us pay $1000 extra in cash to board the sea ray that we originally booked. We only paid because they essentially held us hostage to board the boat big enough for our group, and one of the ladies said we will work it out afterwards Afterwards we had to wait 1 hour and nothing was worked out. So basically it was a bait and switch. Beware!!

Very disappointing experience. We booked a 55 ft Sea Ray boat and Paula sent us pictures of the boat which were happy with so we paid for it upfront. When we got to the dock, Paula walked us to a different boat, significantly older and and smaller. Classic bait and switch. The boat we had actually booked was parked next to it, so we showed them the pictures and Paula told us that her team member sent us the wrong picture and the old boat is what they actually had us booked on. Bait and switch... At this point, I had guests with me and I didn't want to put people on an old ugly boat, so I offered to pay extra for the boat we had actually already booked! Paula accepted an extra USD$880.00 saying the boat we booked was higher price, which I was fine with so I gave her the cash and she said when we get back she would give me my cash back and she would charge my credit card for the difference instead. When we got back, instead of giving me my cash back and charging my card as Paula said she would, Paula made us wait 1 full hour (hoping we would just leave and she would steal the cash, probably also stealing from the company she works for), then one of the other team members, Regina, who knew the situation, helped us and it finally got resolved. 1 full hour later... Meanwhile we missed spa appointments and other things the group had planned for. This company is very unreliable. Make sure you choose a different company to book your yacht charter if you want it to be reliable. Very disappointing, total bait and switch, and total mood kill for an experience that is supposed to be a pleasant experience across the board.

Paula was rude from the beginning. Very unprofessional and could have really ruined the expensive experience for us. She tried to put us on a different boat than what we had booked, when we called it out she was very combative and downright nasty. She then proceeded to ask us to pay more for their mistake and then had the nerve to make us wait an hour. The other team member Regina was very helpful. The crew however was amazing!! Beware booking thru this company!!!!

Excellent staff. The food and drinks were the best we've had in the area. We used Cancun Adventures. The cove they took us to snorkel had plenty of sea life got to see a sea turtle and a stingray and lots of beautiful fish. Must do!!
