Amazing authentic Japanese cuisine. Ask for the perfectly grilled Yaki tori, or if you are vegetarian they have amazing Yaki Soba noodles and the portion it’s great ! Mixology with mezcal was the cherry of the pie. Recommended if you are visiting Tulum.

During our stay in Tulum we came here every day for the delicious iced coffee and americano. For us it’s the best coffee in Tulum. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed and the staff is super attentive and friendly. We can highly recommend this place.

This is a little Tulum gem with the most delicious Japanese flavors, amazing drinks and super friendly stuff. Food is prepared by a trained Japanese chef and everything is on point!

Delicious Japanese/Mexican Fusion restaurant in Tulum. You'll find this hidden gem in the same space as Ki'bok, which arguably has the best coffee in Tulum and also serves amazing breakfast/brunch. The Yaki Tori is perfectly grilled with a slight smokiness from the char. It is accompanied by a habanero-miso dipping sauce that is to die for: a perfect marriage of bold Mexican spice and Japanese umami. A definite must-try to start off your meal. As someone who is extremely critical of Ramen, the Haba-Miso Ramen exceeded all expectation. I did not expect to find decent Ramen in Mexico and this bowl of Ramen was exceptional. Tonkotsu pork broth is my usual preference, whereas the broth of this ramen was chicken. To my surprise, the broth was flavorful, full of umami and accompanied by a non-overpowering spice. You can tell that a lot of time and care was put into this broth and I made sure not to waste a single drop. The semi-boiled egg was perfectly seasoned and the generous portion of chicken that was served on top was prepared to perfection - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The ambience of this space is magical. Lights hang from the trees above. You can hear birds chirping and guests laughing. You can smell the food coming from the open kitchen. The service of the waitstaff is friendly and attentive. And if you're lucky, you may get a visit from the Ki'bok kittens who have made this space their home. So if you're ever in Tulum, be sure to stop by Yaki Sabi for dinner. The food is prepared with care and best of all, the prices are fair and reasonable. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 P.S. I forgot to take a picture of the Haba-Miso Ramen because it was so good that I just kept eating.

We are so bummed that we only discovered Yaki Sabi on the last night of our trip! We came for a Tuesday evening coffee at Ki'Bok and decided to have a bite... the Habamiso Ramen is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. We would have been back for it every night. You're not going to find this kind of ramen anywhere else - and the quality rivals Japan. For $190mxn you get a hot bowl of handmade noodles, a broth that is somehow rich and light and spicy and refreshing all at once, soft and savory chicken and egg, and crunchy scallion. It has been the first food we mention when friends and family have asked about our trip. Incredibly, we were the only patrons there - hopefully the next time we make it to Tulum, there's a wait out the door! Oishikatta desu, gochisousama deshita!

The food was so delicious and the atmosphere is amazing. I had a Burrito with shrimp and caseduilla with goat-meat to share with my brother, and those were so delicious. We think of it as the best we ate in Mexico!!
