★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yama-to Valle is without a doubt the best and most authentic Japanese food you can get in all of Monterrey. The whole cuisine is extremely varied and prepared by great chefs. You'll need way more than one visit to enjoy it all. The staff is very friendly and the locale is comfortable to eat at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's always a great experience to come eat here. I especially love their sushi combos with nigiris. The only thing I'd request is that they add yakigyoza in the menu since currently it's being served either fried altogether, or as pot stickers. Just be wary that during the pandemic, the parking lot is rather limited so I'd suggest either arriving early, or looking for the valet service to help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelente option, it's my favorite japanese restaurant in Monterrey; the rice is excellent, which makes the sushi a great dish, my best is with tampico pasta. We also order vegetables and a salad, excelent service and price. If you like si sushi, this is the best place. They have 2 locations Valle and near ITESM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very fortunate to get a waiter that spoke English well and I was very happy they served HOT SAKE! (I'm a huge fan of hot sake and it seems to be hard to come by in Monterrey) They have a very extensive menu with lots to choose from. I only ordered hot sake (it was good) and I ordered a spicy salmon roll (the salmon was a bit slimey).
