Barely okay. Wouldn't revisit.the seaweed salad was decent, the rolls were not good and their nigiri was decent. The service was weird to put it nicely, the girl did try but was lacking in experience, basic know-how & competency for a waitressing job. The atmosphere is blah as blah comes. I wouldn't come back.

Love the dragon roll and the Vallarta roll, and of course, mochi green tea ice cream.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your in the area and you want some quick sushi, this is a decent option and you won’t be disappointed.
But for the cost, there is significantly better sushi restaurants in Vallarta with a more premium service. Most of which are in the Marina area.

We are from USA and will eat here many times while in Puerto Vallarta for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually found Yamada by accident when we were going to ActII in the Romatica Zone as it's right there.
Very happy ...enjoyed our meal. Thank you Stephanie for the prompt friendly service. The meal was served fresh and hot. The tempura was not heavy or greasy which can often be the case. Perfect, hot and wonderful flavor. We also had the hibachi bowls. Large portions for us but fresh vegetables cooked to perfection and lots of yummy shrimp.
Highly recommend for all...family or couples.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best sushi in town!! Wonderful fresh variety. If you like American sushi this is the place for you. Many sushi places in town don’t have a good variety of a raw fish in the sushi but this place definitely does. The chef trained and Worked in California for 20 years. I never commended!!
