★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yaya Bacalar was amazing! I had the huevos Mexicanos and the chef uses their grandma’s recipe. Lots of flavor and spice! The salsas were by far the best I’ve had on this trip. A deep oily roasted habanero, a Smokey sweet Arbol and a piquant tomatillo Serrano with aquacate. Highly recommend if you love quality homemade salsas and a relaxed cafe ambiance. My favorite spot in bacalar by far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to have breakfast or lunch! Went there twice on a three day trip and both times the food was amazing! Lots of vegetables (and vegetarian options), fibers, fruits, great sandwiches and huevos! Also the staff was really polite and friendly! Definitely go there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cute welcoming restaurant with vegan vegetarian and gluten free items. Small menu, but delicious. Atmosphere is tropical and you have option to sit under palapa or in back patio area where you will find hammocks, fire pits, and additional seating options. Live music during the week. When we arrived there was a tango singer from argentina. Delicious food, delicious non-alcoholic drinks. Perfect place to eat healthy. Good vibes all around and smells of smoking copal. Wonderful experience
