Awesome Energy,Clases and Amazing Teachers. Impecable and super well organized. The Gannon Power Vinyasa with Michael Gannon and Susana Mcdonald's are a must! And the Rocket Vinyasa on Fridays 6pm super fun! The Ashtanga is Traditional and Powerful as well. Also the deep Yin with Álvaro at 10am is highly recomend. Def a beautiful yoga school for serious practitioners that want to be challenge body & mind.

The yoga studio didn't convince me at all. I found it very impersonal. The classes at 10:00 am never started on time and you had to wait in the hallway until the class in front of it had finished (they were never finished on time). I personally appreciate being able to set up my seat before the start of a class and just have a few minutes to myself to arrive, which is simply not possible there. Sometimes the hall was so overcrowded, there weren't even enough yoga blocks available. The studio also doesn't offer any yoga bolsters and / or blankets, which i really missed in the yin yoga classes. If you don't have a mat you also have to pay a extra to rent one! Sometimes i was overwhelmed with the postures and thought it was a pity that i or others who are not advanced in yoga were not offered any alternatives. So, hello risk of injury! My conclusion: I will not come back and i cannot recommend it to anyone. Except maybe for advanced yogis. Go better to Tulum! Here you will find wonderful and amazing yoga studios that are better equipped, a larger variety of classes, top teachers and all at fairer prices

Yogaloft in my opinion is the nicest looking studio in Playa del Carmen. I am working at Yogaloft as a teacher for over 5 years and I feel right at home. The space, the floor, the decorations are spot on. Together with the other teachers we are a great team, offer high quality classes, support each other and I hope to be teaching there for many more years to come. See you all soon! Namaste.

Amazing studio and fantastic instructors! I have been visiting Playa for many years and one of the reasons I keep coming back is because of Yogaloft. Michael's classes are super challenging and I always leave feeling balanced and stronger! Ellen is hilarious and always puts very thoughtful vinyasa flows together. The studio is beautiful and they offer healthy refreshing drinks for purchase after class. If you live in Playa or are just visiting, it is a must that you take class here.

Very pleasant and modern Yoga studio. Guess 80% of people are foreigners. You can check schedule at homepage. Easy to check and find. They have local prices(for who can prove residential visa) and traveler prices. Basic class was good for first visitors.

Everywhere I travel, I always find a yoga Shala to take classes from. I own two Shalas, and am careful to find places that keep the heart of authentic yoga at their core. Years ago, my husband and I took my son to Playa Del Carmen. We purchased a yoga pass to Michael Gannon's amazing Shala. We ended up going every day while we were there, sometimes twice in a day. The classes are all taught by very experienced teachers. Yoga Loft Playa Del Carmen is clean, gorgeous, and always has friendly staff greeting each student. We loved it so much that we do our best to go back to Playa at least once a year for the yoga! We also talked Michael into coming to my Shala, Centered City Yoga in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is coming back again soon. What a blessing to have met Michael, and experienced his amazing energy and expertise.

I had practiced yoga for 23 years at studios all over New York. My last class was almost exactly two years ago, right before we went into lockdown. This morning I took my first class back with Ellen, and could not have asked for a better entry into my practice. In addition to the beautiful studio and excellent class, you can tell that this place is a real community with great energy. Look forward to returning tomorrow!

I tried out the studio while living and working in playa del Carmen. I joined a 2.5 hours hip opening masterclass with Diana Ortega which was challenging, but at the same time helped me to expand my practice and open to creativity. The teacher was very knowledgeable and offered the right amount of instructions for such kind of advanced and specific lesson. Right what I was looking for. The studio is very big and clean. I am definitely recommending it!
