★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Gerald for 4 seasons in the the winter, I stay in Mexico for 6 months and I couldn’t imagine not going to yoga, Gerald has been a great teacher, at first it took me a long time to believe in Gerald and myself but the more I went the better it was, Ive had other yoga teachers in the past and I feel Gerald has taught me to believe in my abilities, I gave yoga a chance and Im much better off for it and I feel yoga is a big part of my life now. Thank you Gerald and his sometime replacement Gloria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my second winter attending Gerald’s class at Shala Ananada Yoga. He teaches with passion and explains every move in detail. I leave his class feeling like I am getting a lot of understanding and benefit from his inspired instruction. He is totally dedicated to his practice and you can tell he loves to teach. It’s a fun group of students and I will really miss our classes when I go back home. I look forward to next winter and will be practicing everything Gerald taught me until I return. Many thanks. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried three different yoga places. We finally found one that we enjoy, showing my wife and I the proper poses. They have been incredibly understanding and patient with us beginners. We're taking the classes everyday for a month and hope to take it for 6 weeks next year. Just as important as the instructor is how friendly the rest of the people taking the class are. It's been a great experience and I'm going to try the Saturday class. Thank you Gerald from Steven and Karen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been attending Gerald's studio for 2 1/2 years. When I first attended I really did not know anything about yoga. Gerald has been and continues to be a fabulous teacher. I cannot imagine life without yoga now.
I also did Gerald's intensive teacher training for Shiva Nata. Like yoga, Gerald was a fabulous instructor. If you have not attended a Saturday morning class at 10:00 am to learn about Shiva Nata, I highly recommend it. I continue to practice my Shiva Nata every day.
I can't imagine practicing my yoga anywhere else except at Shala Ananda with Gerald. Thank you so very much Gerald for everything you have taught me to date. I hope I will have many more years of learning from you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been attending classes at Shala Ananda for about 4 years now during my annual 2 month Mexican retreat from Alaska. Although there are many other yoga classes available in the area, I have found that the classes and instruction offered at this studio are second to none. I learn something new at every class everyday. The instructors really care about each persons yoga experience. They take into account where you are at in your yoga practice and work on moving you forward from there by providing individual attention during class time. The instructors are both fluent in Spanish and English which makes this a welcoming studio for all! Thanks Shala Ananda!
