We were surprised to find a Japanese restaurant in this area of town, but our expectations were exceeded. The menu is fairly limited, but the food was delicious. Definitely worth a try.

Great vegetarian and vegan options! I cannot attest to the seafood quality, but the veggie options were fantastic. We ate at one of the outside tables and enjoyed great service.

The food was delicious. We tried a few different rolls, some starters, dessert and beverages off the menu - everything was tasty and fresh. The owner was extremely nice. Everything was clean and sanitary as well. I highly recommend trying this place. Thank you for a great experience! We will be back :)

We were staying in Akumal and wanted sushi so we looked at close by sushi places- this quaint family restaurant was delightful! The portions were great and the food was delicious! Would recommend!

Great place for authentic Japanese food without the high price. I had the Tonkatsu Miso Ramen and Maki Veggie roll. Both were tasty and a great value for the price. The pork in the ramen was a thick slice of seasoned pork belly which is a nice variation from the usual thin sliced pork loin found in most ramen. The Maki Veggie roll was simple and satisfying. It had cream cheese in it which gave it some substance and made it more filling—It worked for me. I stay in Akumal and was very happy to find good Asian food within a 15 minute drive. The restaurant is located on the Pueblo side of Puerto Aventuras so I can take care of some shopping at the grocery store while I’m there. If you’re looking for some chic, high end sushi bar this is not the place. It’s a place that serves the local community and is run by a lovely family where the owner takes time to say hello to his customers. Highly recommend for a casual meal or takeout.
