Yum Yum Wok - 77580 Puerto Morelos

The food was so good! We had the fried avocado and made our own bowls. All was delicious, seriously one of the best noodle bowls I’ve ever had! We had a blast, went on a Friday night and they had live music and everyone started dancing. It was a great time!

Sent here by a friend. Ordered noodles. Had a female server and then a male server took over. Followed his suggestions. They were busy, but not full. Took a long time to order and almost 40 minutes after we ordered to get our food. My colleague ordered wine recommended by the server and had 3 sips and totally hated it. I’m not a drinker, but he said it tasted like fermented juice that sugar was added to. He did not send it back and left the virtually full bottle behind. I lost the entire next day and part of the following day of my vacation because of food poisoning from the food at Yum Yum Wok. My colleague ate something different and didn’t get sick. Things to note: - They need a drink menu. - They need better servers. - Food tasted good, but gave me food poisoning (both ends). - They need better food handling practices. - The live music was a nice volume, but sounded terrible. There are better places to have a meal while on vacation in Puerto Morelos. I would never go here again because of the food poisoning and impact to my trip as a result.

Maybe not what you were expecting from Mexico but highly recommend you try it. Spring rolls and wontons are great and portioned perfectly for two. The meat lovers is amazing!

We were so happy to have had Yum Yum Wok recommended to us. It's a bit more expensive than a number of restaurants but the bowls are full of fresh veggies and protein with wonderful flavors. The outside dining area is so relaxing. Nice staff too!

Starting with what I didn't like about this restaurant: The waiting time from when I took my order was way too long, about 45+ minutes, but I will cut the chef some slack as it was quite busy that night. Next, it was very noisy, to the point where we had to raise our voices to speak to the person on the opposite side of the table. The music was very loud and there was an occasional loud humming sound that came from the container kitchen which didn't help either. Now what I liked: The food was excellent, I really enjoyed the black noodle dish 'Mar Muerto' and it made up for the long wait. They also allow you to make your own dish by picking the ingredients from their menu if you wish. The spring rolls were nice and crispy. If they fix my 2 main gripes then this would be an easy 5 star from me. Overall recommended.

Finally the BEST tasting food I have eaten in Puerto Morelos!!! If your craving veggies and flavor this place is it!! The Pad Thai was awesome along with Khao Pad is with the egg(sorry partially eaten before I took the pic) on top but I asked them change the pork for chicken and they did for me. I cannot stress how good it tasted!! ???

Great little place, the drinks and appetizers were delicious, there was only one waitress (Fernanda) and she took good care of us. We ordered the Mar Muerto and Meat Lovers

Absolutely delicious food with an excellent server that spoke English too. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 drinks each, and 2 meals for 1212 pesos. The server grabbed my daughter a pen and paper to draw with to keep her entertained and was so kind. Another server or owner also brought out a fan to keep us cool without us asking which was amazing cause we are still not used to the heat! Beyond the amazing service, the cooks made delicious and tasty food! We had steamed wontons, spring rolls, a custom wok, and the bittersweet chicken with rice. They serve the meal with 3 varieties of sauces: sweet, savory with a bite, and chili heat. I can't recommend this place enough, and we came here with a little local guidance when we asked for pasta haha. So happy we went and and got food !
