Zakia is not only the restaurant to eat indian cusine the ambiance , hospitality and the sabor of the food is more good than what you can taste in india this magically place serives all the things under one shelter be it food , cultural knowledge,clothes ,indian products etc
Myslef being a indian Mexican chef i am pleased and honour to have a home away from home Many thanks to chef vinod and his wife Laura for all the love and hospitality to make us (indian ) feel home aways from home and this place is one of the best Indian restaurant not only in Queretaro but whole mexico.

Not only the food taste is impressive, the cleanliness amazing and the place is the coziest, but the attention of the owners Vinod and Laura is just wow. They made us feel in home and gave us one of the best culinary experience ever. This place is a Should in Queretaro and the zone around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is AMAZING! I’ve been to all the “best” spots in Queretaro and this is not only the best Indian but the best restaurant in the city. This is coming from an Indian person. The butter chicken, the Channa masala, aloo, everything was very well done. We travel around the world and always make it a thing to get Indian food Singapore, Europe, Toronto, New York, this has been by far one of the very best. Again, trust another Indian person that knows this food and I’m telling you it’s amazing and very well done.

The place is very private, only by reservation which makes the experience even better. I’ve been twice and tasted different menu every time, can’t wait to go next time to be amazed. Just excellent, highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambience - very good. I like the garden area - try to get seating there rather than a bit inside. Possibly a good place to take your date to. The chai was good. The food is OK. Be patient with your orders. It will take a while - but I like it that way - no hurry, right? Also, they prefer cash or bank transfers - just so you know - but they do have a credit card reader. This place is private and hence needs a reservation. It doesn’t have to be too much in advance - you could message and ask if you could be there in - say 15 minutes and how big your party is - they usully accomodate.
And yes, the place is a tad expensive :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is my favorite, truly an amazing gastronomic experience with an authentic indian cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious, flavourful, you must enjoy spicy and hot food to truly enjoy it (recommended to get the chiken tikka masala, the prawn vindaloo and the soan papdi for dessert). The restaurant requires to get a reservation previously, for our group we had the entire place for ourselves (midweek and late afternoon) so its has a safety to avoid crowds during the pandemic. The chef and owner were delightful and extremely gracious. Fantastic service.
