Dear management of Zapateria 3 Hermanos, I apologize for taking your time, but the situation demands it. My name is Bruno Pablo, I come from Prague (Czech Republic). I am a lifelong journalist - a social analyst from Europe and I am a member of several, leading journalist syndicates in Europe. I currently live in Cozumel, Mexico, and work as a freelance journalist. I write mainly for Mexican and European dailies. I'm preparing articles about Mexican companies. I focus on the quality of services provided. In the short past, we've had a number of complaints in the newsroom regarding your shoe store on the Cozumel Island. Your clients - mostly tourists from the USA and Europe - complain about your employees. The types of complaints vary, but clients mainly complain about the arrogant attitude of your employees. We have therefore decided to visit your shoe store on the Cozumel Island. What we experienced today was terrible. There were 6 employees in your store today. Despite the relatively high number of employees, we had no one to serve us. Upon entering the shoe store, an arrogant employee asked us to fix our face masks. No greetings. No questions like: "What do you want?" Or, "What can we do for you?" Nothing. The other two vendors - a young lady and a boy standing behind a cash register - were playing with mobile phones. Their job is obviously interesting to them. We requested two pairs of shoes. A colleague wanted to try that size. We waited 15 minutes for us to be served, and there were no other clients in the store besides us. There is reluctance in your store. Nervousness. Arrogance. It is not entirely clear to me why. However, the client cannot blame the fact that the pandemic caused the economic crisis and few customers come to your store. In the end, we left frustrated and didn't buy anything from you. It's a shame. We came to buy you, but the arrogant, unprofessional approach of your employees discouraged us. Maybe you are a very rich company and you don't need customers ... I don't know. We wanted to talk about our feelings with the store manager. Also about complaints from other clients that came to my newsroom. We learned that no one like that exists. It's true? Does your store on the island of Cozumel have no leader? We think your employees lied to us. Please comment on the situation. Sincerely, Bruno Pablo, Freelance Journalist

Terrible business. I wanted to buy shoes, but I didn't buy anything because of the staff. The staff was arrogant, without respect for the customer. The warning of my mouth covering sounded like an order, the salesman did not greet me, did not ask me to put on the mouth covering and did not thank me. At present, when the purchase is moved to the Internet, it is rare for the customer to come to the store himself. By the way, today's temperature is 35 ° C in the shade. The salesman has a chance to work with the customer to buy more shoes, thus influencing sales and keeping a job. Staff refuse to understand the basic principles of business. The staff speaks only Spanish in this tourist area. Very hostile atmosphere.

I DESPERATELY needed sandals of some sort. The ones I'd brought were killing me and giving me blisters. I couldn't go on torturing my feet. I stopped in here and was worried that I wouldn't find anything...I WAS WRONG The ladies working were attentive and nice. All prices are in pesos, and they don't take credit card. That's okay. Not only did I find cute, comfortable sandles, but I paid 175 pesos ($8.75 US) for them? They're so comfortable, I'm considering going back for them in the other colors
