Zazil Electric Scooters & Bike Rental - 77780 Tulum

Price was fair and everything was super easy. Even spoke perfect English! Quality gas scooter for 2 people which was perfect for the day in Tulum. Scooter is a must to see Tulum. Pedal bikes maybe but scooter is safer to keep up with traffic IMO.

We had an amazing experience renting a scooter from Zazil Scooter rentals! We came in for the day to explore Tulum from Playa and the location was very close to the drop off location of the colectivo we came in on. Daniel was extremely helpful with our walk in request, directions on the best route to get to the beach, and scooter operation instructions. Downtown Tulum is a decent distance from the beach so we’re really thankful we rented a scooter, compared to bicycles! We covered a decent amount of ground in a much shorter amount of time. When we return to Tulum with our family, we will plan to visit the shop again and highly recommend those looking for a great way to explore the area.

Had a great experience renting from Zazil! We were only visiting for a few days but the scooters were a great way to get around town. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. I would definitely rent from them again if I get the chance to visit Tulum in the future.

My girlfriend and I were in Tulum for the day and rented a couple bikes from here to get around. The rental process was super easy, the prices were the best in the area, and the bikes were in great condition. We also don’t speak much Spanish, but the staff spoke English very well which made it that much easier. We would definitely come back and recommend Zazil to family and friends.

We had looked up this place online before visiting Tulum. We wanted to rent the more costlier mopeds at another place but they had run out of them. We ended up renting one moped from Zazil. The place is close the ADO bus station. David, the owner is a super cool and honest dude. We were able to secure the last moped that he had, which wasn't that great. But he switched with a better one on the same day. The renting cost was reasonable to. Of course, you need to put your passport as a security and you get it back when you pay the money. Overall highly recommend this place.

Great! Very friendly service, they are very accommodating at Zazil! We arrived by ADO and found this spot just around the corner. We didn't make any reservations but immediately had a scooter available at a reasonable price and even got help and advice for our first stay in Tulum. Definitely recommend!

Most affordable we found when renting for 5 days. Kind and easy-going staff and made renting quick and easy. Bikes were reliable for the full 5 days with no issues and were in good condition. They ask for either a cash deposit or driver’s license/passport. Felt a little uncomfortable at first but seems like common practice for all the bike shops and we had no issues and got out driver’s license back at the end with no problems. Just be sure to keep your bike locked wherever you go and keep track of the key!
