★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of architecture to look at, but nothing really to do. Not sure if the dancers are always there but they were entertaining for a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful city center with lots of historical buildings. Came around sundown when the soldiers come out and out the flag away. Theres a whole procession around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally got a chance to visit the Zocalo in person. I have heard so many great things about it and now I saw it with my own eyes.
Unfortunately, they do remove the giant flag that is a historic symbol of this place so I was not able to see if but the architecture of all the buildings was just breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fascinating place, with such history - can't recommend visiting highly enough - the a subway station called Zocalo that takes you right here - so much easier that by road transport, as the Police shut the roads randomly, making access virtually impossible...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool place with tons of space. At night time it looks beautiful because the building lights change color. It’s probably best to come during the day if you want to see the architecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the Zocalo during the exposition of the Sistine Chapel. The main plaza looks incredible. It is a very well done experience. I definitely recommend going. The waiting line was like 20 minutes. If you take the time to read and admire all the art that takes part into this incredible audiovisual experience it will take you a little bit more than one hour. Photos and videos inside the Sistine Chapel Replica are strictly forbidden. If you don't want someone from security or the staff checking your photo gallery do not even have your cellphone or cameras in your hands. They are very serious about it.
