I have spent a lot of time looking for some delicious, legit sushi here in df and after eating here a few times i feel like i can finally take it easy. yes it's more expensive but to me worth every penny for that delicious fatty tuna nom nom nom.

Oh man, what a total disappointment this place is. The first I visited with my work friends I thought it was okay. Now, I feel so sorry for who ever invested their money in this place. The food is nothing but above average, the staff is slow and unknowledgeable. At one moment during the dinner I was told I was getting hamachi when it was clearly not. I asked for a nigori sake, nobody knew what is was! And to make matters worst, I was told that I "had to" tip them at least 15% "by law" on top of my already over priced bill. You won't be seeing me back at this place ever again!

Very average quality sushi place. After Hiroshi made a success of the place when it started, it has now been degraded to a very average quality sushi place. Not worth visiting. Just find something better like restaurant Rokai. Too bad - especially since it used to be good.

This is a wonderful Japanese restaurant in la condesa, with an outstanding service of every person in that place. The fish is extremely fresh and nicely chooses for the sashimi plate. The presentation in great. And the different plates they offer will give you an amazing experience each time. The place is cozy and it offers terrace as well.

Got a ramen for 380$, waited for 1h and it was very underwhelming, small and mostly ramen that tasted like instant nuddles :/. After being asked and explaining i was not quite happy, still got pressured to give a tip on top.

The meal at Zoku was both gorgeous and delightful. The restaurant itself is tucked back away from the street and upon entering we were treated to another world. The outdoor seating soothed with a zen tranquility. Stepping up to the bar, we were seated and ordered the Omakase - chef's choice - which turned out to be the correct choice. The first dish was three selections of sushimi: salmon, whitefin, and red snapper. This was followed by a tray with a shishito pepper stuffed with spicy salmon, shrimp with Japanese tartar sauce, and charred okra with bonito flakes. A salad with baby tomatoes and a vinaigrette dressing was served next which had a wonderful duality between earth tones and the bright acidity of the tomato and dressing. With the salad finished, I was presented with mussels in a sake broth. The mussels were a struggle to eat due to my sub-par chopstick skills, but my lack of dexterity did not take away from the dish. A spread of clam, nigiri, and rolls followed and were the high point of the meal for me. The fish melted in my mouth and the rice was perfectly cooked and shaped. To finish the meal we were treated to a miso soup and a white chocolate mousse made with whiskey and topped with berries. The mousse was rich and sweet with just a touch of smokiness. The meal, the atmosphere, and the presentation we're truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Zoku to anyone.

Food was decent, great atmosphere, amazing cocktails. The power went off at the end of our dinner and never came back
