En la época prehispánica este lugar de basamentos y peculiares estructuras que se extienden sobre el afilado cerro, fungió como un importante centro ceremonial.
 Impressive archaeological site at the top of the Trincheras hill. From there you can admire a spectacular view of the Chilpancingo valley. In pre-Hispanic times this place of foundations and peculiar structures that extend over the sharp hill, served as an important ceremonial center.
